Swim Elite Large Silicone Swimming Cap for Long/Extra Long Hair, Dreadlocks, Braids, Weave on, Hair extension, Afro

I order xl as it was for long hair but the size of it humongous. Covered my whole head..... Made my husband laugh though

I have thick waist length hair which I put in a top bun before swimming. Other caps I've had, supposedly for long hair, were constantly riding upwards and I had to keep pulling them down over my ears and they subsequently kept ripping there. So I measured my old ones up and they compared to the smallest size in this cap. So, I went for the XL. When it arrived, I was sooo disappointed. Popped it on and it completely covered my whole head, face, down to my neck! If I wanted a swimming balaclava, I'd have ordered one! Even my husband tried it on and same again. For me to have had this as a swimming cap, it would have to been smaller around the base so it didn't slide down my head, but even so .... I would have to have worn it beret style, ie with excess materal folded over behind or to one side. Ridiculously large and a complete waste of money for me. Fortunately, as I contacted Amazon immediately and wanted to buy a different replacement because this one was way too big, they refunded me immediately. So I bought another brand for a third of the price of this one! And I'm so pleased with it I've bought another one. So I've got two caps for two thirds of the price of this ONE.

Absolutely fabulous! I have long thick hair and no ordinary swimming cap fitted they just pinged off the top of my head!This one is a great cap and covers my whole head and hair easily and once on it doesn’t move. Thanks

I have used this swimming cap several times now, swam under the water. No problems or wetness in my braids/hair (extension braids in a bob style). Plenty of room in the cap, though a nice snug fit and very comfortable. I would recommend this product and it is worth the money.

I ordered one for my sister she as long braids the XL fitted very well. She used hers in the shower as the shower caps don't cover her braids. I also ordered one for myself I wore it to Aquafit and it protected my hair from the water it was comfortable to wear and looks stylish much nicer than regular caps. I also liked that the silicone looks and feel top quality.

Very disappointed with this swim cap, bought it as it’s supposed to be large for people with long hair. It’s like a vice around my head, far too small wouldn’t call it large at all, rides up also & wouldn’t really recommend. Quality is good the silicone and model but it gives me a headache as it’s so tight. I’ve not got a particularly large head & the long hair I have is fine and goes into a small top knot, not as if we’re dealing with a mass of dreadlocks or anything of that nature. So overall disappointed perhaps I should have gone for XL or XXL unsure if I’d try reordering a larger model, the jury is still out!

So I thought the fit was good, felt tight but comfortable. However when I took it off my hair was quite damp and the cap left these very deep marks on my forehead, which took about an hour to disappear. Granted my hair wasn’t drenched so there was some protection from the chlorine but the marks for me were pretty off putting for future use.

Excellent ! Nice and tight grips so it does not slide off. Hair never gets wet, I use this three times a week! My hair is usually in extensions just below my shoulders, got a size large. Fits majority of my hair styles! Would go a size bigger for single plaits or twists.
