Switched them out from another brand, also 60 watt warm light, and was amazed at the difference. Brighter and cleaner, but not too bright.

I cannot stand led bulbs that are so bright they are blue or so yellow everyone looks like they have jaundice. These are perfect color, even in bathroom for makeup. Dimmable so never harshness unless you need that much brightness. I sew and read easily with these also. I think they make lovely difference over other brands

I use the bulbs in each room for a natural daylight atmosphere.

Normally artists prefer CFL or incandescent bulbs around 4000k to 5000k -- but CRI (Color Rendering Index) is of paramount importance. These LED bulbs have excellent CRI while being environmentally friendly. I purchased these *explicitly* for art under a 5-buld chandelier; the bulbs are also dimmable which allows custom luminosity to match mood or need without sacrificing CRI.

Used to love these bulbs. Made everything look neutral and bright. Now they're just bright and pink hue...just looks weird. Would explain why they're so much cheaper. I still have an original that works from 7 years ago. That one looks a lot better than these new versions.

I love the soft lighting! Used on all my vanity mirrors in my house.
