Never thought I'd need instructions to assemble a lamp, but I did. Don't throw them away! The way I did it was I took the nut on the neck and hand screwed the nut on to the mechanics --- not all the way tight. Just to it's kinda hard to hold. THEN screw the assembly into the lamp base. Hope that helps.

It's very pretty however parts seem pretty cheap for the price. I kept it and it serves my purpose but it doesn't sit exactly even and parts not the base seem cheezy

Quality and beauty

The lamp is perfect for what I wanted it for. I have it o a table next to my recliner. I use the computer and puzzle books a lot so this helps with the light.
