Great book for managers or analysts at any level
I got this book second hand recently but wish I had bought it earlier. Mr. Skinner has done a great job of laying out all the parts and pieces of Decision Analysis in a well organized and clear approach that leads you ultimately to its overall implementation. Its got a lot of nice features as well such as a glossary, key concepts are highlighted, study questions to reinforce learning (if you don't get the message right off), and also a case topic in each chapter to put things in realistic context. Its great for a manager or an less experienced analysts (i.e., reviews some basics of stats etc). Also has lots of sidebars with examples from industry and even personal life. Great book!

If you really want to understand decision management...
One of the best books on the market, for this topic! David's broad experience and ease of explanation contributes to this being a top choice as a teaching reference. 'Introduction to Decision Analysis' contains the appropriate level of detail for those interested in going beyond the basics, while being easily understandable for those that are just learning about decision management. Over 200 copies of this book reside on the bookshelves of individuals within our company...and I would venture that none of them are collecting dust!
