EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS - VERY EASY TO USE
EXTREMELY HAPPY. I have only used it 2 times so far but I am happy with this scanner. I have several high quality scanners and this is up there in. value and quaity. You need to be patient and not overthink things. Or maybe underthink depending on what you expect. Read the screen and don't make assumptions. Most scanners are similar but not all the same. I bought this specifically to read transmission fluid temperature. I received it yesterday and charged it up and downloaded all current updates. Today I decided to check it out and confirm it will do what I want. I plugged it in and it automaticlly started scanning the vin. Then I confirmed vin and veh info. It asked if had smart key and then automatically started scanning all systems. When done I couldn't find what I wanted and backed out of everything and went into live data. No go on what I was looking for. I was upset and ready to return it. After googling videos I realized after the inital scan There are tabs to enter into each system. I tried again and low and behold I was able to enter into the ENG/TRANS system. Gave me what I needed and more. 339 live stream tech data to access just in the ENG/TRANS system. Haven't checked all the features but I am impressed for what I have seen so far. If you do your own repairs you should get this.

DANG GOOD DEAL FOR REAL!!!
Well.....for what you get for your money, this thing is absolutely AWESOME!!!! Legit โSCAN TOOL / SCANNERโ โโ NOT A โCODE READERโ! It is able to communicate with loads and loads of modules in most OBD2 vehicles, especially within the last 15-20 model years, which mid into late 2000s, and especially 2010 +, vehicles now have multiple multiple computer modules, and this thing does a pretty bang up job! Reads codes, clears codes, reads live data across numerous modules which really helps with diag, as well as has features available for some models that allow you to manually toggle items on/off, which is a pretty darn good deal considering cost of this feller! I will admit, that I love my Snap-On EthosPro......but I paid over $3500 for it! Considering this guy being sub $300, it is a really great deal for the capabilities it has to offer. Love the android OS, pretty much acts as a tablet with Launch software. Does have internet connectivity, and internet browser! Freaking awesome!!! Connect to either a WiFi printer, or a shared printer on a network, and print a diagnostic vehicle health report for your customer on the spot! Even better in todayโs wireless / paperless world.....instead of printing, you can email the customer their diagnostic vehicle health report right from the scanner itself! Also....FREE UPDATES!!!!!!! If you work on cars, and you do NOT own a โSCAN TOOLโ, you definitely cannot go wrong starting with this feller here.

Great entry level OBD Scanner
I got this tool specifically to help bleed ABS braking systems. Since they love to hold onto air bubbles. But the tool is also useful for cars that have electronic parking brakes, as they need to be put into maintenance mode to change pads etc. The took itself gives you step by step instructions on how to do brake fluid flushes. I've used it on a Honda, Chevy and a Subaru and it's diagnosed perfectly. For the price this is a wonderful tool, greatly exceeded my expectations.

Did what I needed it to do
I bought this scanner mainly for the EPB reset function so I could do the rear pads and rotors on my wifeโs VW Tiguan. There were some slightly cheaper options that could achieve this but I went with this one to see if being Android and touch screen-based would make for better user experience. This scanner is definitely easy to use, especially when it comes to the advanced functions. Context menus provide a bit more information and guidance than one would typically expect from a budget scan tool. The english is pretty bad at times, but so far nothing completely unintelligible. I also checked out some of the data stream options as I figured it might help me track down a stubborn miss-fire issue thatโs been plaguing the Tiguan for several months now. Unlike my lower end scan tool where each channel just gives a vague number and nothing else, most of the channels were labeled in plain english when using this tool so it was much easier to find the correct ones for monitoring. Your milage in that regard may vary, as Iโve only used this on a single vehicle thus far.Overall I think this is a fine scanner. There are some other options for not a great amount more money with additional functions, and there are some for quite a bit cheaper but with the trade-off of fewer functions and/or a less advanced interface.I tool off a star because the advertised TPMS tool was not included. I contacted the seller and received no reply after 2 weeks. Itโs only a $10 little tool, but itโs still bad customer service. Donโt expect these guys to provide any help if you have a genuine problem that needs resolved.

No Customer Support - No Way to Contact After Warranty is up. NOT FOR THE NORTH AMERICAN MARKET.
It was finicky at best, there are a lot of international vehicle applications which is great but probably about 50% you'd never see in your lifetime. The updates were spotty and so is the scanning and vehicle identification but those were things that you just got used to and the functionality was still there regardless. The problem is that the battery technology used in these units is just absolute garbage for this day-and-age. Every time you go to pull it out of your workbench, it's going to be dead so plan to charge it up before EVERY use. Then you get a few weeks down the line and the battery life is just getting worse and worse until it simply won't have enough juice to turn on.UPDATE: So I found out that this unit is for the Overseas Market Only and is not supported or recognized by LAUNCH North America. After the warranty period is over, there is NO WAY to contact the Distributor or to get ANY support at all. AVOID, go to the North American LAUNCH website and buy from one of their distributors and get REAL Support.

Read before buying
I purchased the CRP129E to diagnose a SRS light on a nissan frontier, and to reset TPMS lights on the nissan and a toyota camry. There were a couple of problems which is causing me to return the unit and look for a better solution.1. There was no TPMS tool included. on the picture and description of the product it shows a EL 50448 TPMS tool. This is not made by Launch, its a generic TPMS tool that can be bought separately for ~$10. I'm not sure if it can interface with the scanner or not since like I said it was not included with the scanner, and is not mentioned in the manual at all.2. It is higher priced than the same product available on amazon. There are other CRP129E's available for about $10 less than this one. I assumed it was due to the TPMS being included (even though it says free gift but the price is increased to account for it). Since the tpms tool wasn't included I would have to buy one separately and spend an additional $10-$15 for what was supposed to be included in the box.3. Did not reset the SRS light on my nissan. It was able to diagnose that the drivers side SRS system had an open circuit, but the light did not get reset after multiple attempts to reset it. The scanner each time said code cleared even through it didn't take affect.4. Slightly clunky software. Updating the software is clunky. After updating everything, you can still select and update the programs that it supposedly just updated. It will re download and install everything again instead of saying that it is already the most current version. This makes me question if it really did update or not and wasted my time.5. Auto detect vin. Along with the clunky software, the scanner does automatically pull the vin and details from the vehicle. great! Then immediatly afterwards it makes you type in the vin. you can't copy and paste what it detected or anything, so it is pretty frustrating. Also you need to detect the vin and then type it in each time you diagnose. So if you have to turn off the vehicle multiple times during a job, thats multiple times typing the vin back in to see if the code is still there and cleared. Very annoying. It did seem well built, and relativly easy to get around the software in, but I think there are better options for the money. I'll be looking at a foxwell NT630, Bluelink, OBDlink MX, or launch CRP429C.Hopefully this helps someone else decide.

It's Not what they say
It doesn't cover what they say as far as car manufacturers go. 2012JGC/O my car screen show faults and the machine never picked it up Not 1. Disappointing with it to say the least. Even contacted the manufacturer with the feed back and have heard nothing. Not recommended

Very useful tool
It has been vastly delivered. It has helped me a lot to diagnose my car and to reset the errors after it had been repaired.
