Recorder from the Beginning - Book 2: Full Color Edition

This series of books for recorders are the best! As a music teacher, I have tried several, and I keep coming back to these for my young students - ages 5 - 10 these are just great! The pages are colorful. When I use these in class - I have the book with the CD and I play our next week's song so the children can here it - it helps with the rhythm. These books teach theory painlessly so that those who have no music background can still succeed.

I enjoy these fun childhood tunes. Adult user friendly and large print which is good when placed on a music stand.

I ordered this book as I am teaching my two sons aged 5 and 7 to play the recorder. The easy to understand format and clear diagrams have made it really perfect for us to use as we learn together. The first book is a great introduction too. Would recommend this to other beginners.

This book is very helpful as I am starting to play the rtcorder again after many years gap. I wrongly ordered the book that did not have te cd but have now purchased a 2nd copy that has th cd as to listen to unfam iliar tune is a big helpto me. I am an older person and find the format easy to follow.
