BLAUPUNKT 1600W 4-Channel, Full-Range Amplifier AMP1604, Black

Had one before and definitely does the job. My old one went out after 2 years. So I purchased a different one. I ended up returning the other brand and got this same one. It works amazing. I have a 2 12’s on a 5000 watt amp and the 1600 for my inside door speakers

I use these power in-ceiling speakers in my home. I first tried using a single amp and speaker selector as shown on the right of picture. Using these Blaupunkt Amps to power four speakers in 1-2 different zones is SO MUCH better. Using the Alexa ap, I can play different songs, at different volumes, in different zones, or have them all act in concert. The sound quality is solid and the power good at literally a fifth of the price Sonos charges. Also at the same sound output, these amps stay relatively cool compared to my SSL amp that gets quite hot. I plan on purchasing more to kill the speaker selector altogether and add some additional bedrooms.

I installed it on my Harley and it was great and sounded good pretty good sound. Had it about a month But now I have the issue of it going into protection mode randomly. Before it would come off and on and now it’s staying in protection mode . Speakers are all brand new , brand new battery , wires are all brand new everything is hooked up properly but won’t come off protection mode .

Turned the factory speakers up .. alot no... road noise ..Plenty of gain left over...For the money ...they GO ..

Sounds good, but when I installed it on my motorcycle, I get bad engine noise

Worked great then it didn’t. The channels went out one at a time quickly. I thought perhaps it was a bad wire until more channels went out, then all did. Maybe they used bad caps….???I know the amp wasn’t much money but I expected it to last. After all Blaupunkt is synonymous for German Quality. Perhaps they decided to have this made in China. The warranty center claims 90 days warranty but the paper work inside cites 1 year. And they only have one warranty person. They much have caller ID too.

This Amp is really impressive for the price. I did a head to head (totally amateur) comparison of a few different amazon amps in the price range and this was the only one that didn't sound like garbage. In fact, I'm quite impressed with the sound quality. Is it anywhere close to the advertised output? Of course not! Don't expect to drive four 6x9s and a set of subs but if you're like me and running four small coaxial speakers and want something better than the head unit power, this is a really good choice in the sub-$100 range.
