407 Swing-A-Way Manual Can Opener, 1 unit only (assorted colors)

I grew up with one of these in my parent’s kitchen as a kid.Over the last 30 years I’ve probably blown through at least 20 cheap $5.99 can openers from the big box stores. They never lasted more than a year if that.But this swing a way can opener is just as robust and reliable as the one I grew up with. It works wonderfully and will work even when the power is out. Too bad the big box stores don’t stock them anymore.If you need a manual, Hand crank can opener, this is the one you want.

This works great. My sister has one and that’s why I bought it. It’s so easy to open my cans.

It’s a can opener, but a good one. I had one that lasted 20 years, I cleaned it and it stayed sharp. When I decided I would clean it anymore I looked to see what brand it was and bought the same brand. I love it because it opens cleanly and doesn’t skip like others do. Has nice weight to it. It grip is good for the older generation.

Works like a charm! Easy grip! Lasts a long time!!! So tired of having to buy several other brands each year! I won’t have to anymore!!!!

I grew up using this can opener and never had issues with it. So, I have been dealing with other can openers' issues for years since I moved out in 1989. It was about time that I got the one that I knew would work, even on the small tomato paste cans! I guess that you can re-teach on old dog and old trick that he already knew...

I inherited my mom’s Swing-A-Way that she purchased more than 40 years ago! I used it up until a few weeks ago. Although it still worked reasonably well, it was starting to stick a little. My daughter-in-law purchased a cheaper look alike that we used twice… it skipped and stuck fro me the first use! Needless to say we went back to the oldie but goodie!I finally splurged and bought the new one and it’s a dream! With no effort the cans are opened…smooth like butter!Buy this can opener! You won’t be sorry!

It work well and easy to useLike most thing not quite as good as the original but very close.

We love the Swing-A-Way brand can opener. It lasts for a few years unlike some that don't work well the first time they are used, including $10-$15 brand name can openers.
