ICON Brisk Air Dometic Duo Therm RV Air Conditioner Shroud, Old Style

My old a/c cover was so brittle that it would crack if I put any pressure on it at all. I am getting ready to take this rig on the road and knew it was going to eventually fly off in pieces as I was going down the freeway. This was on a 1994 5th wheel so I was pretty sure this was the "old style" cover, so ordered one of those. It fit nearly perfectly (I did have to drill a few new holes as the existing ones were just slightly off). It seems to be a sturdy build and also makes my rig look better since I don't have an old, faded cover anymore.

It was much heavier than the original and easy to install. I needed ne screws so I used #10 flange head sheet metal screws from hardware store. Original holes line up perfect, does not use the gray lower portion from old shroud.

Fit my 12 year old travel trailer! I added two screws to the front because I thought wind velocity while moving might want to pick it up unesserarty.

This was easy to install and the price was a lot cheaper than buying from an RV place.

Some of the screw holes didn’t line up and for one person to install, it kept popping up.

I have a 1993 C class with an old style Dometic Brisk Air Duo thermo ac, and this cover fit like a glove the holes lined up.Ive read about people having to do minor mods to make it fit, I never had any issues it is a perfect fit and yes there is no need for the old lower metal trim, thats a excellent upgrade.Overall, I'm very happy with the Quality and fit.

Contrary to some other reviews, the original gray plastic piece riveted to the upper piece is not needed. You won't need rivets or anything else to install it. The original cover is attached with 14 screws (#2 Philips) and the two screws on the rear side that have extensions are not needed for the new cover. All 12 screw holes on the new cover lined up to the original holes in the AC unit. You might need a stubby screw driver if there is a vent or other obstruction on the roof beside the AC unit. And if the fins on the condenser coil are bent over, buy a fin comb to straighten them.I would give this 5 stars if the price was more reasonable.

The product is made of very flex-able plastic. This added with its very loose Fitment means it fits but not perfectly, it will do the job but for the excessive cost you would hope the quality would be higher, had to drill some holes to mount it and because it’s so loose it is buckled in the corners

arrived the next day after ordering! put on the same day as arrived,1- no back screw holes so had to make two more, 2-back of shroud collapses into the fin area so fabricated an aluminum strip and screwed in to support the plastic 3- added foam block to support the top as it is slightly taller than original, overall happy

Je trouve que l'ajustement du produit est de moindre qualité et si je referais cette achat ,je predrais un oem pour l'ajustement et la qualité .le prix plus cher du oem en vaut la peine
