Team-Building Activities for Every Group

I started a group with Junior High school aged kids, and needed something to help guide me with activities. A colleague had recommended this book based on her work with at-risk youth, and as such ordered it. I am glad I did! I have used about 20 of the activities so far, and they have been a hit with all participants. While attendance in my group is purely voluntary (with other options available), I noticed all youth keep coming back week after week. I have come to the point where I now have to turn down kids as my groups are full. What a great resource!

I am searching for Team Building activities for adult church members. I had to really search for activities that an over 50-60 age group could physically participate in and many of the physical activities would have to be modified for them. A younger age group could easily do most of the activities included in book.

We use these activities for our 4th thru 8th grade F.I.R.S.T. Robotics program to help teach Core Values and Teamwork to the students. Very happy with the activities we've gotten from the book.

Alot of team stuff that would have HR having a fit

This book has a lot of ideas, however, few of them I would say are really good. If you need some ideas for a last minute activity, you can probably find them here. I modified most of the activities in the book to make them a little less lame.

I also purchased the More Team Building book and now I have an extensive number of team building exercises. Each book had something different to offer. I can use it for a varied group of people and ages.

I've been happy to find 1 or 2 activities in other books - this book exceeded expectations. I have marked at least 20 activities that are practical and appropriate for office development groups.

Great ideas

This book is quite dated but that is the beauty. Some of the exercises have been long forgotten and are not in the current books so can be revived. I have already used some and have tweaked them a little and they have been well received
