Great Replacement for a 96 Tahoe
All metal bases! These replaced some cheesy plastic based mirrors l bought a few years ago and started flopping ln the mirror and quit responding to mirror switch. These are high quality and fit my 96 Tahoe pretty good.The mirrors arrived a few days earlier than expected. Mirrors were packed very tight in the box and the mirrors were ln individual boxes. The mirrors are also packaged ln blue bags and do come with a weather seal and 3 10mm nuts.If you think yours are shaking. You probably did not get all 3 10mm nuts completely tight. It is a bit tricky and you need the correct tools. I recommend a socket ranch for the bottom one toward the front and 1/4 medium depth 10mm socket on a wobble extension for the other two.Tip: Loosen the nuts then push a leather work glove in the door below the screws to fill the door gap. This will keep you from chasing them ln side the door and wasting your day. l also use a magnet. Loosen them to the end of the screw then attach magnet and keep turning, lf lt falls on the glove u still have them.

Not Perfect but Close
So I have had my OBS since 2000. I have changed the mirrors out here and there many times. There is nothing on the aftermarket side that is going to beat factory OEM. Factory OEM can go for big money on Ebay and these were a nicer option considering the price. These were nicely shipped and came quick. The biggest problem with aftermarket mirrors is the the vibration. My passenger side fits well and looks good with minimal vibration. The driver side does have more vibration in the mirror than the passenger side even after making sure all bolts are super tight. Even though is does have some vibration- I am still pleased with this purchase and I do recommend as probably the best option behind factory OEM.

Decent for price.
They fit and function just fine, install went smoothly, definitely an upgrade from having no mirrors like before. However both mirror glasses do shake quite a bit while driving, (any help on that from the manufacturer would be great) received in good timing and condition, well packaged
