Arrow 1851 Men's Saranac Flannel Long Sleeve Button Down Shirt

Amazon lists this as a cotton/polyester blend but that is wrong! It is 100% cotton.This shirt just arrived and we have not worn it much, nor washed it. If any issues arise I will come back and revise. For now, this is to state that the shirt is basically what we'd expect for a large shirt in flannel. The tail and the sleeves are long relative to the width of the body, but not so much as to be annoying.This "Anthracite" color pattern is even more attractive in person than in the photo; very dark black, will be interesting to see if it holds up in the wash. Also note that the flannel is a fairly light weight, no more than medium weight, so you won't be outside chopping wood in it. But fine for layering or indoor wear. Might earn fewer stars but we got a fantastic price so overall it is a good deal.

My height and weight are 6'-0", 210lbs. The XL is right size for my measurements. The most important size is the arm length and the chest size and no worries for the rest of the fit. The shirt is looser, softer material, not as crisp as a casual business shirt. A typical plaid shirt with a softer material blend. Washed it a couple times in cold water and slightly warm water and detected no shrinkage. The shirt might require occassional ironing but wearing the shirt smooths out any slight wrinkles except for the collar. A nice shirt to wear all year in a climate with four seasons.

The fabric this shirt is made of is just about perfect: super-soft, comfortable, cozy, great "weight to warmth" ratio. The shirt (size M) fits pretty much as expected - I always wear a Medium and this fits fine, not baggy but with a bit of room. Not a modern fit, slim shirt, which is fine with me. The arms are a little too long for me (my arm length is 32-33) but not enough to worry about. The workmanship seems good: no loose buttons, a few stray threads typical of a manufactured garment, seams all straight. Well made! The colors aren't quite as bright in person as they seem online; more subdued, which isn't bad, just not quite what I expected; at first I was thinking of returning it. But once I tried it on, it was so comfortable that the colors began to look nicer by the second. It's a good, classic, comfortable American flannel shirt. Can't go wrong, really.

I like Arrow shirts. I have never had to send them back for size/fit. They are easy to take care of, meaning, washing them and waring them. And, they have lasted, looked good, for much longer then other shirts that I have paid much more. I don't work for Arrow, and I don't know how these shirts are manufactured. I can only assume all is well with that. But, they have great shirts in my opinion.

I bought an XL, Blu Bering Sea color. I'm a female 205 and 5'6". I wanted a light to medium weight shirt to wear with leggings around the house when the weather starts to get cooler. It's perfect. The color is a dusty plaid. The sleeves are long as expected in a man's shirt. It's long enough to cover my butt which is why I wanted a large man's shirt. Flannel is light in weight but not cheap. I'll buy more.

This is a medium to light flannel shirt. I should have read the description better, or maybe it really did not say.In any event, it looks good, has nice sharp colors. Good for mild temps but nothing like 40 or below.I think it fits a tad small. I am an extra large, and found the sleeves short as well.Hope this helps.

I bought my pops a shirt from the same brand in a similar color years ago, he liked it so much he asked my mom to find him another one in this shade of blue, after tenaciously searching the local shops, I resulted to Amazon. Thank God it fits as expected. (As some products bought on amazon do not always fit correctly.) My old man is stoked, as he loves the comfort and quality of this button up!

Very happy with these shirts. The patterns and colors are attractive, and the fit is excellent. I'm 5' 7" and 150 lbs and the medium fits me perfectly. Often I have to go to a small or sometimes even large with competing products to get a good fit but not with these. The fabric is light so these shirts are best for spring/fall use.
