This remote was very is to install and works great!!

I did buy it to use with my dump trailer, the installation was fairly easy and both controllers are working well, not sure about the range.Will update if something changes.Edited 3/12/21It has a good range, I tried from like 50 feet away and worked very well, just remember this device is made for a winch application so for dumping you don't really need to be that far.

I got this to run my new dump trailer which has a wired control. For the money, this was great. I used two relays with this since the listing warned about overloading it - but easy enough to wire up. Very cool and convenient!

Easy to install but didnt last long. After installation I pressed the (out) button and the winch went out. Pressed the (in) button and the winch went in. And then never worked again. Just more China junk.

The controller looks good but it didn’t work. The instructions said if unit clicks but doesn’t work the the winch is bad. After testing the winch I found it was fine the controller was the problem. Bought a different controller and it works great.

Replaced old winch with this and it works perfect

replaced the old receiver and remote and the wench is now working again .

Wireless remote installs easy fits nice in solenoid box range so far about 25 yards have not tried it any further no lag while operating winch ( I have heard some of these have about a second or rwo lag either in or out Not this one) would buy again

Very easy to install. Some have stated they hooked directly to the winch and the receiver burned out. Wire the receiver to the winch control solenoid and all should be good. The only thing I DON’T Like about it is, the farther away (I’m talking anything over 3’) from the receiver you are the slower to react when you let go of the switch; the farther away the longer it takes the winch to stop turning when switch is released.

I have a Can-Am defender that I use to plow in the winter. I wanted to get a remote for the winch when I mount or adjust the plow. It's just so much easier than going in to the cab each time. My local dealer wanted almost $200 for a wired lead!I figured there had to be a more cost effective option out there. It's not like these are super complicated. I found this one listed and it seemed to suit my needs. It was also a very reasonable price and included two remotes which was a bonus.Installation was quite simple but it wasn't the instructions that helped. I followed the wiring diagram to know what leads were for what purpose. After power and ground were identified, it was simple process of elimination to know "in and out" wires.One thing I did learn is that the receiver box must be grounded properly to work. If the ground is not solid, there will be nothing happening. I actually thought my unit was defective until I found it was the poor ground connection. The wires themselves are braided in a nylon type material which is a nice touch. I replaced the eyelets with some spade connectors as it suited my application better.The remotes are large. I thought that would be cumbersome, but after using them with gloves, the size was a welcome bonus. Both remotes were shipped with the switches in the on position though so I'm not sure how long the batteries will last. They are a specialized size.Overall, the units suits my needs great. It does exactly what I wanted it to do and the whole thing is concealed well.
