Easy to install. Good fit on my campervan. Quality appears to be good so hoping for long use. Had re-orient the original valve because it was angled down and caused low ground clearance as a result. Now the valve is horizontal with maximum ground clearance.

I have used the twist-on gate valves on my campers for several years. they are ( in my opinion) one of those "must haves" for camping. My only complaint was that sometime when removing the hose from the valve, the valve itself would disconnect from the camper down pipe and could release unwanted fluids.This valve solves that issue!You will need to modify the down pipe on the camper and cut off the 4 tips used to lock-on the hoses/fittings.Sand smooth with emery cloth, then glue this fitting to the down pipe with PVC glue. Now there is no chance of the gate valve disconnecting at the wrong time and creating a mess.Double thumps up!

As a builder, the vague slip fit terminology is obviously from some desk sitting engineering type, when comparing valves for new or retrofit construction those of us out here lying on our backs with ABS piping might like the simple intelligent-informative addition of "MALE or FEMALE" slip fit for determining spacing, slip fit is great for writing an ad.

Excellent valve. Just what I needed so I didn't have surprises when taking the cap off. Installed on a 2021 Grand Design 311BHS on both dump locations. I had to cut off the factory installed cap and glue these in place. A worth while upgrade for down the road.

I just bought an old camper van and had to replace this valve. Easy to install and easy to use. I'm not sure why the review is asking me to give it stars based on the "scent" but it didn't smell bad out of the box!

Had to cut down our pipe a little and Installed with plumber cement and it works great.

Product works as advertised (so far). On these items, time will tell, but I am impressed with the construction and operation of this valve. No leaks or sticking. Smooth operations.
