This is the best lap desk I’ve ever had and it’s very sturdy!

I bought two of these, in aqua and green, for my kids (aged 4 and 6 at the time) to use in the car three years ago. I could not be more pleased. They were both in booster seats and they fit very well over the arms. They used them for activities, they have little cubbies for crayons and markers to keep them from rolling away. We used them for an eating surface when they had snacks in the car. These lapdesks are very durable and easy to clean. Over 3 years later they are still used almost every day. They use them to color or write or do homework outside when they are sitting on the sidewalk or lawn and inside sprawled on the floor or couch. The padding on the underside has held up extremely well despite the nearly constant use. I am finally picking up a third one so I don't have to hear grumbling when I need one!

We did not want to buy anything too fancy because of the price tags VS reviews! This works, shipped free (Prime)! My lap top has non skid little feet on it so the slight angle is OK. Laptop will stay cooler when in use on my lap as opposed to using a pillow, (my stepdaughter's crashed shortly after it overheated from her using it in bed without proper ventiliation). The soft supports underneath are better than some of the more expensive ones.Funny how the brighter colors were at least $5 less than the black one which is what we would have purchased so they would look OK in sight in the living room when not in use, but BLUE worked for my husband!I WOULD RECOMMEND! Please note one came cracked and I had to return, completely pain free and I had the new one before the cracked one was actually back at AMAZON!

This is what I get for purchasing an item based off the pretty blue color lol. According to the product description, "Micro-bead lap pads conform to your lap for comfort and stability," I've had this is a full day and a half, and I am still waiting for it to conform to my lap. As far as stability, the laptop keeps slipping down towards me which is REALLY annoying. THis is while sitting down on the couch. I can imagine how it would be if I were reclining on my bed with my legs stretched out.Another claim the description boast is "Dual-bolster lap pad design with air channel to keep your lap cool," I feel the heat from the bottom of my laptop as if there was nothing between my legs & the laptop...I have a 13" Macbook Pro, and it fits perfectly, even with the external wireless mouse I prefer to use. As others say, it is a good item to use for painting nails, writing, etc, but then again so is a good size hard cover book. Just saying... lolA lot of people mentioned that is is a "good weight," this is true. It is lightweight and has a handy dandy handle to carry it. The two slots on top are good for holding small things, very small things like one person said, "her USB."Overall, I think that it should be at the most $10. The company charges a bit more because they claim this & that, but as far as I'm concerned they failed. This is why I hate to shop online... other people may have different standards, and in this case they obviously did. I went based on reviews, and I really wanted a lapdesk a nice color haha, so I learned my lesson. =)I'm using it right now, and I need another break for my legs, because I DO feel the heat emanating from the bottom of my laptop =/

Very comfortable lap desk, not just for a laptop but for writing by hand, painting your nails, even eating. Anything you may need a steady surface for you can use this. Mainly I use it for my laptop and school work and the cushions are comfortable on my legs. The slant on the desk, because the cushion closest to your stomach is not as thick as the one near your knees, works well ergonomically. It feels natural using the computer even though there is added height.It's also better for the laptop to be on a solid surface to prevent overheating because when it's directly on your lap you and your clothes are blocking the fans and ventilation. Not to mention if your laptop runs warm or hot it can be uncomfortable to have against your legs- even cause burns. But if your laptop is that bad you might want to look into a cooling pad or clean out the fans to make sure they are running properly.

Love the color, the curve in the front fits great around your stomach, the holders are very convenient and it's nice and soft on the bottom against your legs!!! You gave the measurements so this may be just my personal taste and feelings but I have 2 teeny tiny things I would love to change, first make the 2 holders a lot deeper and or wider where you could hold pencils, pens etc. And lastly, I wish the bottom back poof was a lot higher so when its sitting on your lap it has a much higher grade and tilts towards yourself a lot more (for anyone who has a bigger tummy you see, and try it out on the manufacturing level).Otherwise I like it a lot!!!

I use this to study and do homework. I LOVE it, I'm using it as we speak. the only thing that could be improved is like other reviews state, it is slick and things will slide right off the top. I went to Walmart and bought shelf liner in the same turquoise color and used a spray adhesive glue (which is not the best so I need to find a different type of glue) and it helps things not slide off the top.

This is the perfect Lap Board for me to work on projects or write cards on the couch or the bed. The two slots up top are large enough to fit a cell phone, pad of paper and some pens without worrying about them sliding off. The space you have to work with is quite roomy and the cushion on the bottom is both soft and plush. It’s formed so it will stay in place wherever you want it to be. It’s very comfortable sitting on your lap. The Aqua color is very attractive and is almost like a pretty Teal. It’s a high-quality item. And the price is right.
