Perfect fountain pen. Solid materials, no problems in use and looks and feels good. The refillable cartridge is a smaller type so it requires filling fairly regularly, but there's a certain aesthetic pleasure in drawing up ink to fill your pen instead of using disposable cartridges. The nib is perfect for middle road. Neither too thick, nor too thin. It even comes wiyh a lovely flip-up case of faux leather which I had not expected! Thank you very much for it! I will likely buy Ingram in the future. I'd have bought ink from them too if they'd sold it.

It is many years since I wrote with a fountain pen and sadly my penmanship showed clearly I deeded to ditch the biro. Having had a good scout round I settled on this pen back in April partly because it looked a solid pen which is ideal as I currently had what are called Trigger fingers [where the fingers lock] and I needed a substantial pen and that is what I have got. I don't often do reviews but I have to say that I can't find fault with this pen at all and I have to say my writing has definitely improved. The quality and colouring of the pen are superb and while I haven't used the two refills I am keeping them as back up when I deed to order more ink.

This pen feels luxurious to use and glides smoothly when writing. I am not a pen expert, just an enthusiast, but I've written with pens that make my hand tired due to imbalance. I felt that the weight of this pen was balanced well for my hand (I have big hands) and I am able to write for a longer period of time with it. It looks great and comes presented very nicely with a storage box to house the pen when not in use. I haven't had any issues with it and so am happy with my purchase. Looking forward to the other Ingram pens in the future.

I’m a bit old fashioned, I like to use a fountain pen rather than a ballpoint. I use them everyday. This pen is astounding value for money, I’ve got more expensive pens that don’t work day to day as well. The nib is robust, not too thick. It writes really well without leaving smudges or trails. It can use cartridges or ink with equal results, I highly recommend it to anyone using a fountain pen for the first time, or indeed old hands like myself.

I’ve managed to use it once with no problems and then 24 hours later I go to use it again and find it’s leaked everywhere through the lid! I know it wasn’t due to me not inserting the cartridge correctly as that would cause a leak from the body of the pen, not the lid. It’s a shame because it’s such a pretty pen and writes so beautifully.

I held off reviewing this for a little while as I wanted to make sure that it didn't have problems after being filled with ink, and I'm happy to say it's been fine. I like this pen a lot. I prefer refills from bottles of ink rather than swapping cartridges and the provided refill container makes this straightforward. It looks very nice, it writes smoothly and it's friendly to hold. The only thing I might have liked is a few more grams of weight, as although very well built it feels quite light in the hand. This is a subjective preference though, and I'm sure for other people the light weight would be a benefit. Overall I'm very happy with it.
