Inside Out Driven by Emotions

I love this book. It’s a great price for a very nice book and my 7 year old son loves it. He has psychological disorders that cause him to act out in violent ways. Because of his condition, he doesn’t understand why he does the things he does. This book helps him to understand more about his emotions. I use this along with journaling so he can write out the way he feels when he is angry rather than act it out. I highly recommend this book for all children, but especially children with psychological disorders and/or autism.

Came early and was in really good condition

I would give it three and a half stars.to four.I assume it tells the whole movie story but just paraphrasing. The whole book is about the five emotions first-person point of views of the story. It goes from Joy's point of view of the story, then Disgust, then Fear, then Anger, and then Sadness. Although the concept was original, It was not necessary to have all the emotions point of views. I can understand Joy's and Sadness's retelling because they are the main characters of the plot.But, the other three were just retelling of the same story (Of them without Joy and Sadness) only with some small changes. It became extremely boring but I read through them. To make it more boring it was all in paraphrase and not a feeling of individual stories. Plus, the book was too long and stretch everything except the main characters stories.I wish it went from Joy and Sadness to short few pages of the other three or had them all together and use third person omniscient.

I read this book to my 9 year old daughter and she loved it. It was quite an adventure, but in the end, all of Riley's emotions realized that they needed to work together.

While this is probably great for little kids, it doesn't go much deeper into the film's events, as I had expected. It's basically the same story told from different points of view, and the highlights are the cute character narrations, which there just doesn't seem to be enough of in each story.

It was good. And it was cool I like disgust and anger the most sadness was also cool and fear was also good joy was a bit to bossy but it was cool we are all cool

Great book, very well written. I would not hesitate to buy. The chapters are very organized and neat, each chapter has a picture in the beginning so children can find what they are looking for very quickly. I like that the book has many pages to keep my son busy.

My 9 year old is slightly autistic and loves this book. I still use it to relate to him and discuss how he's feeling, I like that it has the concept that you can feel more than one emotion about things.

I give this book a 5 star rating because at the beginning of the chapter it shows a picture of the character that chapter was talking about.😆😅

Driven by Emotions re-relata la misma historia que la película ("Inside Out", o "Intensamente" aquí en México) pero desde la perspectiva de cada una de las cinco emociones (Alegría, Desagrado, Temor, Furia y Tristeza, en ése orden).La versión de Alegría viene siendo por mucho la más apegada a la película (pues ahí es la narradora y principal "protagonista"); las versiones de Desagrado, Temor y Furia dan un poco más de detalles acerca de qué paso durante todo el tiempo que pasaron sin Alegría; finalmente, la versión de Tristeza sigue de cerca a la versión de Alegría, pero esta vez desde un punto de vista más tristón, calmado y melancólico.Aunque es relativamente poco lo "nuevo" que se aprende de estas versiones (en el sentido de lo que no se vio en la película) se conoce mucho más de la personalidad del resto de las Emociones.El libro en sí tiene letra relativamente grande y renglones más bien separados, por lo que se acabará de leer más pronto de lo que uno pensaría al ver el libro cerrado. Ésta versión de tapa dura tiene ese acabado suave al tacto que se mancha fácilmente pero da gusto tocar de todos modos.Ésta es la versión en Inglés, recomendable sólo para quienes lo entiendan, obviamente, pero sí existe una traducción, por ahí.
