Diamine80ml Fountain Pen Ink 2 Pack - Sherwood Green & Red Dragon

A nice package of some good reliable inks. Nothing super snazzy about either, but they are smooth writing inks that I use for journaling. I’m a lefty so a ink that doesn’t smear is important. Both colors are strong and eye catching. Red Dragon is a favorite.

The Red Dragon is my favorite red; it's a true blood red, neither scarlet or brown, slightly warm. The color of the drop when you prick your finger. It's reasonably wet but not as wet as Sherwood Green the pair in this set.Sherwood Green is a forest green, tending to blue but not too blue. It's VERY wet and it feathers on CHEAP paper (aka your laser printer stock.) Green ink is my favorite to write notes and this is a beautiful green. It's not particularly water resistant.The 80ml bottles are an old fashioned squat glass vial.I have two favorite ink makers and Diamine is one of them; Pilot Iroshizuku is the other. Diamine has a large range of colors and it is not the most expensive of inks and come in 30mls refills if you can find your color (often sold out.) The 30ml vials are plastic and should be put into a rigged up styrofoam rack to prevent tipping (if you are clumsy like me.) The 80 ml are squat and stable for filling pens.

great value, not my fav colors/ink brand, but solid choice, esp if you want more colors in your rotation

Nice basic colors. Diamine is my go to brand and never disappoints.

The boxes were still wet. The ink had soaked the boxes which was delivered in a plastic bag 🎒 Beware!
