Love this brand, but neglected to realise this a miniature size.
Luckily I bought several, for when I got the box I marvelled at how lightweight it was, I then opened it and discovered these jars! They're so wee!!! I know his brand so the contained product is as expected, and thus, excellent. Great miso for soup or for cooking, pure and unadulterated. A small spoonful will very stubbornly melt in 300ml boiled water from the kettle to make a perfect miso soup. You can add tofu and kelp, but you don't need to. This is great by itself. I also use it to slather on pork and salmon along with ginger and other flavours before cooking. The glass jar is a great option for storage. Most of the miso out there is in bags, making it messy for saving, so I do appreciate a recyclable glass jar.

The White Miso is delicious and salty.Good on crackers or crispbread in small amounts. Good in soups or on baked potatoes.
