This works great!
The media could not be loaded. This device does a great job. After 18 years of having to roast outside, I treated myself to a Behmor 2000AB. I’m now roasting under the powerful Vent-a-Hood in my Kitchen. The Behmor’s maximum roast size is 1 lb. This device will cool 1 lb. of beans in 2 1/2 to 4 minutes. It traps all of the chaff from the roasted beans in a screen under the removable basket, which is easily vacuumed up after the roast. If the fan ever stops working it’s no big deal, it’s a standard fan used to cool off computers, a $20 replacement. The DC power supply is probably equally inexpensive. I normally wouldn’t go to the trouble of leaving a review, but I’m so pleased with this that I decided I would.

Cools fast, removes chaff
The media could not be loaded. I have been roasting for 6 months and have used a fan and a colander to create a cooling device, but it usually takes more than 5 minutes in the Texas heat. 2 problems to solve, cool beans under 4 minutes and remove chaff.Set up is easy, set the cooler on a flat surface, find a wall plug, attach the plug to the cooler. I roasted 230 grams of beans, which final weight is around 188g. It feels like you could cool 8 oz up to 16 oz of coffee. (230 - 460 grams)I stirred the beans (see video) to move them and cool faster. I was able to get them cooled in less than 90 seconds! The material is metal and nicely put together. The interior is stainless and easy to clean. It's not very heavy, but the fan is noisy. I don't care much about the noise as I had a fan already for my previous method. For the job it does, it's a small item to deal with. The chaff collector under the basket has a mesh layer so that doesn't get into the fan. You can dump out the chaff after you finish the cooling cycle. I was not able to get 100% of the chaff out, but you can move your beans around on the wire basket and it will move some more out, just do that over a trash can or sink.Overall, this well exceeded my expectations and I am able to cool the beans at the stage I want to more efficiently. This is a must get for home roasters looking for a faster cooling method.

One of my top purchases ever.
This is one of the greatest devices I’ve ever owned. Cools around 200g of roasted beans in less than a minute. Kinda loud, but I’m using an air roaster and it’s about the same volume. Very reasonable especially considering it’s on for such short periods.Solid construction, it’s got a good weight to all the components and everything fits together nicely. If you’re on the fence like I was, just go for it. 1000% worth every penny unless you feel like a DIY project.

Cools the coffee quickly! Solid construction.
I roast coffee in my garage and sell it online to friends and family. This coffee bean cooler has helped streamline my coffee roasting activities by saving me some time and sanity. To begin, this cooler is well-constructed with quality materials. The base is solid and has a great weight to it that makes it feel like a quality product. The bean holder is made of what appears to be stainless steel with a mesh that is the perfect size to let chaff through but not swallow the coffee beans. The fan in the base is quite powerful. It sounds like an airplane taking off and does put off quite a bit of sound. It's not a concern for me, but if you're in a position where a loud fan is a concern, this is something to consider. It's not a drawback for me though. It's also easy to clean.Routinely, this cooler has fully cooled my coffee in two minutes or less. I used to sit my coffee in front of a 12" high-velocity fan and it took five minutes or longer to cool my coffee. Even then, the coffee was still warm at the end. This cooler really cuts that time down. It helps lock in the flavor of the coffee and prevents it from over-roasting.It comes with a power adapter to plug in to any standard U.S. outlet. It also has an on/off switch. Overall, this cooler is a great buy for the home coffee roaster/enthusiast. I would highly recommend it!

Great coffee bean cooler
Great bean cooler. Well built, cools a batch of 300g in about 45 seconds. Easy to use, literally dump your roast and turn it on. Nothing complicated about it. Does a good job of collecting chaff from the roast as well.

Very effective cooling, high quality and easy to maintain
Excellent coffee bean cooler! I roast with a Quest M3s; this machine cools the beans much faster, with much less bean stirring, than using Quest's setup of putting the drop box into the back fan compartment. It also simplifies the process of doing multiple roasts, one after the other.I compared this Dyvee machine to the Jiawanshun cooler. I was biased toward the Jiawanshun because of the separate chaff tray, but there was really no comparison. The Dyvee is solid, fan is much more powerful, tray looks like it is made of stainless steel, like the Quest roaster, and a surprising amount of chaff is left sitting on top of the lower screen, easily vacuumed off. The Jiawanshun is not stainless, the trays fit tightly together (difficult to separate), and the fan was surprisingly gutless.Note that the Dyvee fan is an easily replaceable 120x120x38mm computer fan (FF12038H12B). I can't confirm that it is really 240CFM, as I can't find the brand of this fan for sale online. Note also that the air flow was greatly increased by cutting a hole in the surface underneath the fan (see photo).I generally avoid Chinese products on Amazon, as they are often cheap junk. Of the many Amazon purchases I have made, this is my first review. Great product!
