Have repurchased these to keep them everywhere needed. So bright and and easy to suction to surfaces and not have to make someone stand still holding a light!

I am a powdercoater and mechanic and love the portable work lights.I have had the Astro, the Braun and about ten low end ones.My favorite is the Braun for its heavy duty housing and foldability but I needed one to keep in my truck as I enjoy being a 'Picker'. Now that winter is coming the days are getting shorter so it's dark in the early mornings.I charged this and had it in my truck. I had to check out some plywood before loading it to see if there were nails or staples in it. I love the way you can keep it dim or crank it up enough to light up the whole street.It is almost identical to the Astro and my Astro hanger broke off so I try not to use that feature but the magnetic base works perfect for placing on the back of my bed while loading.For the cost being 1/3 of the astro and half of the Braun, this will be purchased again in the future.Update: Just bought another one. These are really great lights.Well worth the cost.Brighter than any of my other lights.Can hang if there is no Ferris metal around.Magnet is more than strong enough to swivel the base without the magnet coming unattached till you need it to.

If you’re a professional mechanic or take ergonomics and efficiency seriously, these aren’t for you.The plastic knobs used to turn the lights on and off melt to the body when subject to strong solvents like brakleen, the magnets in the base can break and fall out, and the ball and socket mechanism used to adjust how the light “sits” on a surface break. Additionally the lights will flicker from full brightness occasionally and the micro USB charger should really be USB C or something more durable.However, these are 30 dollars shipped to your door (roughly). I have broken these and reassembled them so many times. I have used them to do motor swaps outside, transmission swaps outside, work on rusty old trucks, work on my race car in my shop, and they are still going after a year of heavy abuse.When the lights do work as adjusted (most of the time) they are very bright and the magnets do a great job of holding the light to steel surfaces. I even use these lights while welding.Will I go to something nicer when I get the cash? Absolutely. Not sure what’s out there— but a more reliable version of this would be great. However for the price, these lights are insane. Perfectly priced for their level of reliability and performance.

Easy to charge and use. Great seller

I dropped my first light hard. I knew I had broke it internally. It continued to work until the charge was lost. That’s when I noticed the battery status LED had broke free. It wouldn’t take a charge. I replaced it with this one. Large battery +++++ I use this light all the time. I keep it at the east on my workbench. It’s very bright. Another upgrade on this light is that it uses Usb-C to charge. This will become your go to light. Highly recommend it.

I wrench for a living and use this 6-7 hrs a day. It works well, it's thin so getting it into areas is really easy. It also is bright and just works. Recently, preparing for a 3 hour drive up north, I used it while checking my spare tire hanger and pressure (it's been a couple years since I checked it). I stuck the magnet to the inner bumper and forgot about it. I remembered on day 2 of the vacation. So this thing remained stuck, on the underside of my truck, for about 250 miles. That's pretty impressive. They're also cheap so if something happens to one I'm not super bummed out. All in all would and will purchase again.Update, bought 4 more, still pleased with em.

Great Light, very bright and has a pretty strong magnet. Not as tough as other lights though. The magnet broke from being dropped and the other base broke as well from being dropped both by my Co worker. Maybe I shouldn't let him use them?

Great light, bright and good magnet but swivel could be a little stronger, but overall great.

Even bent it up in my swag and cracked the glass cover but still working.Sunk to the bottom of a water tank for 10 mins. Still going strong.
