Q: Why does this cover have to be washed on a cold wash. is it because the dye will run or because the cotton will shrink? or both these? thank you

My daughter has this cover. I’ve washed it on a 40 degree wash (maybe even 60) and it hasn’t shrunk or lost colour. It’s a really nice cover. Very soft and great colour design.
