EKSA E1000 USB Gaming Headset for PC, Computer Headphones with Microphone/Mic Noise Cancelling, 7.1 Surround Sound, RGB Light - Wired Headphones for PS4, PS5 Console, Laptop, Call Center

I bought this headset in Feb 2021, and I am writing this review in April 2025. This headset was a part of my first PC setup, so I was a very casual gamer. For a $30 headset, this is a great budget pick that has lasted me all this time with absolutely no issues. It is comfortable and light. Goes around my ears and doesn't apply a lot of pressure on my head. Durability has held itself up well, too. Only within the past few months, I noticed the leather covering on the padding start to peel and shed. A little annoying, but doesn't impact functionality. Impressive it's lasted this long as someone who regularly games every night. The sound quality is a 4/5. I'm not an audiophile, and this is considering the price point. The only thing is the sound isolation/directional noises fall a little flat, which is something to consider if you are an FPS gamer. TLDR: Great budget pick for casual gamers/users. Impressive durability and comfort. Would pick something else for fps or competitive gamers in terms of sound quality.

I got a set of these headsets last year and they work very well! I reordered another set recently and overall, they're perfect for the music, gaming and programming I use them for on my PC and laptop. Unlike many PC headphones or headsets, they are either connected via USB and a old fashioned mini-headphone connection making many headsets with mics basically useless for my needs because my personal PC/Personal Computer's mini-headphone jack does not work and last year I got a set of th ese EKSA E1000 USB powered headsets and they worked perfect! So, I ordered more and got them recently and works great. They are only USB powered and the mic works via just the single USB connection.....perfect! They have some lighting on the headset themselves, but not overboard....just fine for my likings. The USB connection cord is pretty decent and at least 3 or 4 feet in length. The mic swings in front of your mouth/face by hand only when you need to record items or chat on videos via the personal computer or laptop. For the price....which is pretty decent....you get a pretty good set of headsets with a mic [if ever needed] that has pretty good music qualities and with padded headsets cups over your ears, you'll be just fine wearing them for a hour or so. Yes, these headsets are adjustable and also have padding on the ear cups and topside so your head will be padded too. 5 stars I rate these decent EKSA stereo PC headsets. But it's just my opinion.

I bought these headphones in September 2023 (it is December 2023 at the time of writing this) and I have had little to no issues with them! They fit perfect, the sound is great, I can't hear anybody talking around me so I'm guessing the noise cancellation is working well, but I have a few issues with it. Firstly, the wire. The cord is made of some soft material instead of the traditional rubber, which was fine at first, but over time it started to coil around itself and start tearing for some reason. No rubber wire I've used has done this, and it sucks trying to pull on the cord to get it to straighten out just for it to go right back to coiling around itself again. The wire that's poking out isn't a huge issue at the moment, but it just keeps getting worse over time. Secondly, the mute switch. It doesn't work at all anymore. I haven't dropped these headphones, haven't messed with its wiring other than the coiling issue, haven't done anything to harm the headphones in any way, yet the switch to mute my microphone just suddenly stopped working. Flipping it to mute still allows people to hear what I'm saying, and flipping it to unmute does the same, which is a bit odd. Finally, the instructions to set up 7.1 audio are either outdated or just wrong. I have a Windows 10 computer, and the tag on the cord is meant for a Windows computer, yet I cannot find anything regarding the 7.1 audio anywhere on my computer, even after researching for an hour and a half. I'm not sure if the 7.1 audio even works because of this, or if the headphones just don't support it at all, but there is no indication on what I'm supposed to do to enable it on my computer. Overall, other than the three issues above, I really like these headphones and will continue using them until the wire decides to break one day. The bass is amazing, the sound quality and volume is great, and the fit is perfect. Solid 7.5/10

I have used 2, going onto 3, of these Eska headsets from about late 2019 all the way to current 2025. The sound quality is great, much better than expected for a relatively affordable headset and much better than any of the other headsets that I have tested at higher price points. To me it sounds almost on par with headphones my audiophile and musically inclined siblings used. They are pretty durable and can last a while as well, the set I am currently replacing has been going strong for about 2 1/2 years of multiple hours of daily use. This headset it also particularly comfortable as well, I am able to wear them for multiple hours a day without any discomfort to my ears or head. They fit to my head well too, most other headsets tend to be a bit too big on me no matter how I adjust them but these have always fit perfectly. The noise canceling is also quite good, when I have them on its pretty easy for my fiancé or our roommate to sneak up behind me without meaning or trying to and jump-scaring me by accident. I will be sticking with these for as long as I can.

The EKSA E1000 USB Gaming Headset exceeded my expectations! The 7.1 surround sound is amazing—super immersive for gaming, and I didn’t even need to download anything. Just plug and play! The microphone is crystal clear, and the noise cancellation really helps during in-game chats or Zoom calls. I also love how comfortable the headset is. This pair of Headphones is must for any gamer. I'm a PC gamer and tried those on and boy the sound and clarity couldn't be any better. These deliver a top notch gaming experience with their amazing sound system which you could hear literally every single detail in the game. Very comfortable as well as I tend to play for 2+ hours which doesn't hurt the ears at all. Great thing when they come with sided mic which comes handy if you're a streamer or muti player gamer. The build quality is great considering the price offered and comparing to other branded headphones i would say those are superior. I don't understand why would someone pay over a 100$ on branded set when you can simply have these. Currently using them for listing to music as well but i would suggest keeping them for gaming. Pretty sure console gamers would have the same positive experience.

Really happy with this headset. The sound is clear with excellent surround, the mic works perfectly, and it’s really comfortable for long use. RGB lights are a nice bonus. Definitely worth it!
