365 by Whole Foods Market, Chicken Whole Fryer Tray Pack Organic Step 3

I received one of these whole fryers on the small side, only 4 pounds, and it looked closer to a Cornish game gen than it did a chicken. I actually laughed when I pulled it out of the bag. Amazingly, it had enough meat on it to not only serve the three of us but also with enough leftovers for a second day. To be fair, we don't eat a lot of meat/chicken, but I'd guess that it would have serve an average family of four. The meat was tender, juicy, and didn't have a gamey flavor at all despite the Step 3 designation. I would buy this again, no hesitation.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Great chicken. Nice and fresh. My girlfriend said she tasted a bit of gamey flavor, but i thought it tasted like a regular chicken. I would buy again, the girlfriend not being a fan of gamey meat would not.

This is high quality, tender, roasts well. But I really like all my giblets, especially the liver. Not even our cats will eat the heart and puppik.

The flavor is delicious, we really like it! I will make sure to buy this again! My kids love it!
