Great little guide book for Hong Kong
Love the Fodor's 25 Best Travel Guides. Nice to have a bit more information than other compact travel guides and like having a few pictures to help decide what we want to see. Great addition to my travel library.

Interesting
Bought this little edition to learn a little more about the tourist options in Hong Kong. The size would be perfect for a day pack or on the plan or, well, cargo pants really. Hence the size is dead right for the demographic the book is aimed at. It is logically set out with tiny bits of history as well as very concise ideas for what to see and do while in Hong Kong. There are the usual recommendations for places to stay and eat (the bits I skim to be honest) and at the end of the book there are snippets about Macau as well as Shenzen and Guangzhou. What may be of most interest to those planning a trip are the pages devoted to the nuts and bolts - currency, voltage, best times to go etc. While you can of course get all this and far more from the internet this would still make a useful little purchase if you're planning a trip there - or as a gift for someone else who is likely to be going.
