GIGATENT 6′ X 5′ 1-2 Person 3 Season Dome Tent Waterproof & UV Resistant Fabric Carry Bag Included

I got this for my daughter so she’d have a compact tent for NYLT over the summer, and it’s not a bad little tent, but the end of one of the poles came off making it very difficult to set up because there is no place to stick the little peg for that corner.

Bought this for our fifteen year old, who wanted his own tent for a recent family trip.First, this thing sets up quick and was easy for him to put together on his own while everyone else set theirs up; however, he is 5’10” and there was no way he was going to be able to stretch out in this, even diagonally, if he wanted his other gear inside with him. If you’re thinking you’re going to get even a twin size air mattress in this thing, think again!Second, and for us the main factor, was that ten minutes after setting up, we looked over and half of his tent was flat and limp. Went to look, and one of the fiberglass poles had snapped off right at the edge of the metal connector. There was no wind, no one was near the tent, and only his backpack was inside- meaning that this thing snapped just from the weight of the tent. He ended up sleeping in a hammock all weekend because this tent was totally unusable!Third, upon packing this thing up, the seam in one corner of the bag tore out completely, and then the zipper split when we tried to close it. Understand- this is a tiny tent and packing it should be a breeze because this bag actually had plenty of room to spare, unlike most... and it still practically fell apart.Final word on this: if you buy it, you’re taking a pretty huge risk at having a major tent failure while you’re out in it. There is no way I would ever buy this tent again! The company must have some majorly flawed quality control these days, because three major failures in one brand new tent is pretty serious.Buyer beware.

A typical two person tent means two people without gear, or one person with their bags, so the size was not a problem for me since I knew what to expect. I picked this tent because it was the only one I could find where the mesh was half of two walls and with windows in the other two walls. Most tents only have mesh at the top and get very stuffy very quickly. I used it once in light rain. It kept me dry, there was no humidity buildup inside because of the mesh and it kept me warm with the windows closed at night. The quality is not great, but the good design is worth putting up with the sticky zipper. All in all I don't think I could beat this price for the weight and ventilation.

Easy set up. Crowded for two, but wasn't purchased with that in mind . Neighbor lady loves it.

Great product and price

A simple tent, it met the last minute need I had for it - but I probably will try and sell it or give it away after only one use.GOOD: I will say, one of the few tents where the inside stayed dry, even after overnight rain showers. Simple and easy to put together.CONS: The rain fly is awkward to put tougher and the stakes bend very easily. Definitely not a tent for two people.

Easy to set up, but a twin air mattress barely fits inside. I am short, but it is not a tent that is big enough to stand up in. Still, it fit in my suitcase and was very lightweight. So, it has both pros and cons!

I love this little tent! I've taken it camping 3 or 4 times, and it's rained every time. It stays dry in the rain, is easy to assemble, and is very light to pack. I am 5'1" and the size was fine, anyone taller might be less comfortable though.
