ESEE Knives Molle Back Attachment for 3P and 4P

If you line up the holes correctly it fits perfectly for you Esee 4. If you don't nothing will line up. Move your factory sheath closer to the bottom so more of it will be sticking out below the molle everything lines up. The hardware that comes with your factory clip plate can be used to attach your sheath to the molle backing. It a very heavy duty piece of gear that should last a long time. Mine says made in the USA on the back. It's Esee quality through out. The strap that goes around your handle and the elastic that goes over your handle fits just fine if you just line up the screws correctly. Thank you Esee for another great product.

Best attachment for my esee 4. Idk why people are complaining about hardware not included, you use the hardware from the belt clip.

The molle back platform works exactly as stated and will fit my ESEE 3 or ESEE 4 sheaths without fail. I really love that it can do double duty which adds to the modular factor of this well planned piece. I intend to place my ESEE 3 on my pack as I wasn't able to before with the stock clip plate The color is a nice coyote brown and is aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, I rate it 3 out of 5 stars because the hook n loop velcro that is to secure the handle is very weak in this brand new platform setup. I can see it will not last n will wear out immediately after i would guess 30 openings. Quality control should have noticed this. I will have to sew own my own strip or take it to a tailor to remedy this. Not the worst, but for a new product, the velcro should be much stronger. From a cheap price ranged item, i would expect that, but not for the brand and price range of this. Should the manufacturer make the velcro strong as it should be, I would reconsider my decision to 5 stars.

Ok so it is to small for the 4hm I bought not a big deal I will try to order the 5/6 Mille backing. I was able to use this with a cima 3 knock off. As well the pouch fit with the top holes. I was disappointed that the Jude’s hangs low on the 4 so it didn’t look right as for function no problem. 4 stars because of that but well built so 5 stars for that. Buyer beware you may not like the look after it’s installed with the 4.

Used this to molle an Esee4 on my backpack. Uses the existing hardware that attaches the clip plate to the sheath. Works as it should like all Esee products

I’m pretty disappointed. I get that the knife is solid. At least it appears to be and how wrong can you go with 1095. But the carry options are disappointing and because of that the knife will probably see very limited use. Problems with the MOLLE sheath: No good belt cary option. MOLLE spacing is messed up on the top forcing you to bunch and stretch the MOLLE receiver webbing. Safety strap is velcro instead of a snap and the velcro is crap, barely engages and the fuzz is so cheap that it requires excessive fiddling to disengage because the fibers are so loose. Elastic that is made to cover the butt of the knife is too tight / positioned too low so that you have to mangle the elastic to get it over the knife. Maybe it works well for the 3 but for the 4 it's virtually useless. I think the only carry option for the ESEE 4 is going with a custom sheath.

Well made and sturdy. If you need to keep your Esee knife in place during any activity this will hold it securely.
