Easy to clean - Virtually mess free
Apart from being delivered damaged the item is pretty sturdy! We have two now and our pets got the hang of using them really quickly. The ease of being able to lift the grid and just change the pad is great for us although the bottom of the grid is difficult to remove urine stains from. We have two Belgian Hares and the grid allows them to pass urine without their fur becoming matted or dirty improving their hygiene.

Works well
I have the tray in my puppies pen/bedroom. He uses it in the night. Only downside is that I have to cut down the puppy pads so that they fit in the tray.

Fifthly
Nice item, fit for purpose but arrived in a dirty fifthly state which is unacceptable

These Puppy pee pad holders are a great idea if they’re flat
The puppy Pad holder is a great idea I actually have two one in the crate and one upstairs in my ensuite only the one in the ensuite isn’t flat and Wobbles Wobbles quite a bit so my puppy is not keen on using it but in the crate he did so now he is more trained to go outside. I still keep them in in case he has an emergency they are a good idea but can be a bit of a nuisance with the leaking through the pad due to pegs inside they are supposed to hold the pad in place these are not needed as the puppy pads hanging over the edges slightly so when you put the top down and clip it into place it would stay still without the pegs which make holes in the puppy pads so then you have a bit of pee underneath inside the tray that needs cleaned constantly if your puppy is using it!

Great product, almost stops chewing
this is a great product, and almost perfect to stop puppy chewing through pee pads, dont worry about reviews about grid being difficult to clean, really isn't a problem. if he/she poos hard like most dogs, and easy to clean anyhow. My only issue is he has managed to lift and chew through one of the catches which means no longer closes properly. would be great if supplier supplied with a couple of extra catches for this issue or even supply them separately then it would have scored much higher on sturdiness. above all is a great product that takes away the worry of your puppy eating pee pads

Great for puppies who attack puppy pads
I brought this especially because it has a grill that fixed over the puppy pad. My puppy kept trying to eat puppy pads - even in a pad holder that held down the edges he torn up the middle. BUT not shown on the product photos there is quite a large gap in the back of the grill and it doesn’t cover the pad completely. To remedy this I’ve had to fold the pads so it’s totally under the grill, and it works well like this he can’t (he’s tried hard) get to it. It does mean there is an exposed bit of the tray without any pad though and makes clean up a little tougher.

Buy it!
Definitely buy it! I was sceptical about this at first due to some of the reviews but I’ve had the most amazing experience with my puppy’s training & I really feel like it’s down to this board! I wasn’t sure about buying it at first and whether it was just a gimmick but it’s fantastic and I take it everywhere we go - she knows that’s her toilet space and she goes on it no matter where we are as she recognises it. Also have no issues with her running off with the pad or ripping it up but then she is only a tiny pomeranian. Works for us anyway!

Also doubles as a puppy bed apparently
Does our tiny 9 week old dachshund think this is an extra bed? Sometimes yes. But using a puppy pad with attractant she also does use it for having a wee. So it’s multipurpose! Only two days in so can’t comment on sturdiness etc. But so far so good.
