This is a very specific, detailed description of how to measure the current condition of the hoof. I would recommend it to people who are trimming (farriers & vets) that need to know how to see and measure the balance of the whole hoof. Owners and those who are beginning to discover Natural Hoof Care....this is too technical. Try "Making Natural Hoof Care Work for You" by Pete Ramey, with forward by Jamie Jackson. It is an older publication, and some would say, out of date, but it is written in a clear and basic manner with lots of photos to demonstrate.
