Umi and Uma: The Story of Two Mommies and a Baby

I absolutely LOVED reading this book. I have a bun cooking in the oven as we speak and cannot wait to share such a beautiful story of a beautiful family. I think this is exactly the type of book our little people need to be reading. Learning about doulas and family with two mommy’s that love just the same as a family with one mommy, one daddy, two daddies, or the mommy and daddy duo. I can’t wait to read it again and again to my munchkin. Thank you guys for leading by example and giving us something to share with our children.

I love the whole idea of a book showing what love means !! The land of astrin is a land the gay community wished we had a long time ago. See this book touches me in different ways from being with the person you love no matter if it’s the same gender to creating a family with them. The colors and and pictures are amazing can’t wait to read stories umi and uma will bring to the world.

This is an amazing story. It is about a little girl named Abigail and how she came to have two mommies. The illustration is beautiful. Hey know the authors personally and I’m so very proud of them. Much continued success and I hope to more books in the Abigail series! Loved it!!!❤️❤️

This story was beautifully told and will leave you wanting to know more. I loved the multiple examples of family that is spread throughout the story. It shows that families are all different but can all be connected through love and support.

It's a beautifully illustrated book and perfect for little ones who may show some curiosity about how families come about. It's written with room for the adults doing the reading to answer questions in ways they're comfortable with. In other words, it's a beautiful story that anyone would be comfortable sharing with their child.

This book is so sweet and engaging. I love that our baby is able to look at printed materials of a family like ours...and it's fantasy?! Very creative. Thank you "Umi and Uma"!!
