Delicious and crunchy!
These are really good! I was hesitant to buy them right now at the end of July, because I went to their website to see if they had the Cajun salt ones in stock, because they are out of that one here. The site said this: "Our supply of peanuts has been exhausted until the new crop is harvested in the fall. Please check back with us in November.". *WOW*, so I came back here to order the salted ones since that is all that is available. Now I know why. So, November I am going to buy the fresh ones and compare, but I have to say, these taste fresh to me. Crispy, crunchy, salty goodness! They seem to be better quality than the kind I got from a friend from Jerky dot com. Those were pretty pitiful being cajun ones, and hardly tasted the seasoning at all. So, flavor-wise, these just salted ones are far better, but I do think the Jerky ones had a thinner shell. This shell isn't thick like a normal shell, but they are slightly thicker than the jerky brand ones. In any case, I will be buying more as long as the price doesn't go up anymore. Basically $5.50 for each 7oz bag as the 2pack is $11.15 currently. That's very pricey! It's also typical of jerky's price as well, so seems to be standard. Now that I'm thinking about them, I'm going to go grab some for a late night snack! Try them, you will love them, and if you are looking for a unique gift for someone that loves nuts, send them these!

They're OK. The Cajun ones are nasty. The novelty of eating the entire peanut wears off fast.
These are ok. I prefer regular in the shell roasted peanuts. These are oily and taste gritty. They're kind of novel at first, eating the shells, but that wears off pretty quickly. Every 6th or so nut is burnt and tastes horrible. The Cajun flavor is terrible. it somehow accentuates the burnt flavor. They're also way overpriced.

Not very good
I understand all of the flavor is in the shell but they are not very good. I wanted to like them but just can't. You can clearly taste the shell and it's not good. Waste of money!

Tried them, glad I did
So, I stumbled across these just looking for snacks. Shopping on here for food in the middle of the night while hungry, what could go wrong?Saw these and thought: “why not?” I love roasted peanuts, never tried boiled peanuts, or these deep fried peanuts. Seemed delicious and the idea of eating the shell and all seemed interesting. Added to the cart and hit buy.Watched a few video reviews while these things shipped. Saw some mixed results, there was mostly praise. When they arrived, I was happy. It didn’t solve the midnight munchies during the previous week. But I had a new snack to try, and that was reason enough.CAJUN Flavored Review:Cracked into this flavor first. Ate a few, tried them without the shell and tried the eat the shell gimmick. I taste nothing, no Cajun seasoning far as I can tell. Set them aside and sealed them. Few days later I tried them again. Still, tasted like a greasy peanut. I get halfway into the bag finally, I start tasting what I would consider the cajun seasoning. But mostly salt. (Which I get is part of that kind of seasoning) For whatever reason, most of the flavoring fell off the peanut and settled on the bag or at the bottom of the bag.My advice?Give these peanuts a shake before you dive in. No ideas otherwise unless you want to re-season them yourself.SALT Flavored Review:Pretty much what you expect of a salted nut. I wish I could say something more about them but really, just tasted like your lightly salted average peanut. Which if it isn’t broke, right?Of the people I asked if they wanted to try them, only one tried a salted deep fried peanut. They was also intrigued by the concept of eating the shell, and a chuckle at making something relatively healthy a bit unhealthy was a funny concept - but hey, fair food does the same thing and it works.I’m glad I tried these. They’re kind of like eating a sunflower seed with the shell. Just at the end of it’s digestion trail.. It doesn’t feel like you’re passing a pine cone when nature decides to call (if you ate a few sunflower seeds shell and all, you probably know what I’m saying). The price? I don’t get why it was higher here. Maybe for those who don’t have them locally or at their gas station. Or to cash in on someone’s curiosity. The video reviews I saw they found them local and they was under $5 a bag (specifically if memory serves.. $3-4 price range) on here I paid $11 + tax for two bags.I’m glad I tried them and all, I didn’t taste much a difference, sometimes you get that gem of a slightly more roasted peanut in a bag with roasted peanuts.. I wouldn’t hold out the same optimism with this cooking method. With the seasoning settling at the bottom of the bag, and pretty much buying salt and slightly more salty flavors.Wish I had looked further into different flavors before buying. If you like peanuts, and don’t have that allergy to them. I suggest giving these a try at least once. If you can get them local, and cheaper I say go for it as well.

Must Have
If you lived in the South & became hooked on fried peanuts, these are as good as the ones from the gas station.Don't judge. Fried peanuts are mandatory road trip food.So you've never had a fried peanut?Think it's gonna be greasy?Or just can't imagine why?Oh~let me tell you, if you like popcorn & salty kettle chips, you will Love fried peanuts.Seriously, you'll need a 12 step program to put them down. You eat the whole thing with the shell, like a sunflower seed. The salt, or flavor (cajun is my fave) is on the outside. The shell crunches like a kettle chip then,The almost juicy goodness, like movie theater popcorn, explodes in your mouth. It's Sooooo Goooooood.Didn't even know I could get these on Amazon.Kinda wish now I didn't bc they are so addictive. Was buying shelled peanuts for our local wildlife & these popped up.The only bad thing about having these shipped is the waiting. The thought slowly consumes your mind, makes your mouth water,as you try to stroll to the mailbox, acting like it's no big deal and then, finally, they arrive and all is right with the world's again.

Good taste but you cannot eat the shells
Pros: pretty good flavors and a nice taste to the fried nuts. The salt flavored is VERY salty and I love salt.Cons: you absolutely do not want to eat them shells and all. Shells are chewy and don’t taste great. The nuts themselves are pretty tiny and not really worth it for the price.
