We didn't even walk a block before this device fell apart. One lunge and the two metal rings came flying off, such that I was left with a regular, cheap leash. My dog weighs just short of 50 lbs. I don't know how this device would work on any dog that weighs more than 20 lbs.

DO NOT BUY THIS! The quality sucks. I'm currently at the vet because the leash broke and my husky took off and was hit buy a car. I wish I could give it a zero star rating!

I purchased one of these about 4 years ago. I loved that one but my 100lb Lab Pit mix finally broke the clasp off of it a couple weeks ago. I ordered a new one thinking I would be getting the same great product. Boy was I wrong. The one I received this time I could instantly tell was cheaper right out of the box. I didn’t even make it 5 steps out of the house before my dog pulled on it and the metal ring broke off and the leash fell apart. The material of the leash it’s self is no wear near as thick as the original one from 4 years ago and the hardware was sub par to say the least. The ring instantly bent and separated falling off the leash and which in turn held the second metal piece on the leash which also fell off. the stitching started to unravel as well. This was a great product when it first came out. clearly the company has gone cheap with a foreign supplier now. I would not recommend to anyone with a dog over 30lbs and honestly don’t even know that it would hold up to that. Complete garbage. Only good thing I can say is seller refunded full purchase price when I contacted them.

My 40lb 1 year old black lab pulled and rolled. The first time I managed to keep her from pulling. The second time the leash broke.

I read all the positive reviews and then purchased it. My dog is a female pitbull weighing about 53 lbs. We used the leash for three days and on the fourth day she saw some rabbits and pulled extra hard and snapped the O ring right off the leash! Thankfully the leash was still attached to her collar, but I was pretty disappointed. I haven't looked at it to see if I can fix it and I just wanted to pitch it in the nearest trash bin.

My dog, a German Shepherd/Husky/Heeler mix didn't pull a lot or super hard, but enough to make our five mile walk uncomfortable for me arm. She would jog ahead, take the lead, and then come back to my side- a constant cycle of "please make up your mind". After seeing this was so cheap, and wanting to see if it actually worked as well as people reviewed, my 55lb dog and I decided to test it out. Now, as I said, she was never a severe case of pulling or anything like some reviews on here, but this "magical" harness fixed the issue without causing her any pain or discomfort. She pulled once, realized something was touching her stomach, pulled again, realized it was related, and then didn't pull again for the duration of the walk. I feel that, even if you have a minor pulling problem with your dog and can spare $7.00, it is definitely worth it. It's such a simple concept, I feel it was something I could have done with her normal leash, but I really do not believe any money was wasted!

This has worked beautifully on our Lab. She tried to pull just once, now she is walking right by my side, though if we go a few days without using it she has to relearn not to pull again. Generally only takes once though, lol, she is about the equivalent of a two year old. I have had much smarter labs, but I have never had a sweeter, more eager to please lab! The leash is very well made, and I have found no problems with it at all. It does not pinch or hurt the dog when she does pull, it just creates a bit of discomfort. I would highly recommend this purchase to any one whose dog walks them. This leash really has made walking her so much easier. She weighs roughly 85 pounds, and I have no problems controlling her with this leash. So pleased that I purchased it! I believe you will be too. It isn't 100% fool proof, there are some dogs who simply will not be trained, but if your dog is half as eager to please as mine I believe you will be as delighted with this purchase as I am.

Worked fine for about 10 min. Dog quit pulling and the walk was enjoyable. Then she did pull just one time and the hardware, that makes this leash functional, bent. Rendering the leash completely useless. The material that the leash it's self is made of is probably fine for 20-30lb dogs. It is definetly not adequate for larger dogs as pictured.
