Purina Beggin'Strips with Real Meat Dog Treats with Bacon and Beef Flavors 25 Ounce Pouch (Pack of 1)

i bought these for my dog (a 4 yr old Shiba Inu) because the sad little eyes she gives me when i make bacon on saturday mornings makes my heart melt. not enough to sacrifice any of it but i do feel a little bad. So i ended up purchasing these Beggin' Strips and she absolutely loves these. They smell ALMOST like the real thing and when fresh, they seem to have a nice chewy texture. She can't get enough.One day when i was rewarding my dog of a job well done of not pissing in the house, i had a sudden curiosity rush over me.I wonder how close these taste to real bacon? (ok not curiosity, i was out of bacon and was really lazy)So in a moment of desperation i opened the bag. The aroma of fake bacon filled my nose with glee. My mouth started to water. My love of bacon is unwavering. i put the meaty treat to my mouth and looked forward to being rewarded with bacon-y goodness. .. then. . . .disappointment. once the first piece hit my tongue, disgust set in. what smelled like bacon turned out to taste and have the consistency of play-doh. quickly and ungracefully i spit it out, hoping nobody saw me. At this point my Shiba Inu was already at my feet looking at me. staring. judging. I had stooped to an all time low. Stealing treats from my beloved pet. Then the shame set in. Oh the shame.SSSooooo if you're getting these for your dog. they should love them. make sure you keep the bag sealed otherwise you'll end up with Beggin' Brittle.

I absolutely love Amazon ! After buying PURINA BEGGIN STRIPS from Pubix for years @ $12 per bag I thought to myself," I wonder if Amazon has these and if so,at a better price ? " Sure enough there were plenty of vendors ..... plus some PRIME vendors @ $10 per bag. Of course what I love MOST about Amazon are the REVIEWS ! In this case,most all of the reviews were FIVE STARS ! Had I signed up for AUTOMATIC DELIVERY every other month I could have saved a few cents more per bag ........ BUT there were quite a few NEGATIVE REVIEWS about glitches in the delivery system with those who had signed up. So now I simply order my TWO 25oz BAGS every other month SAVING $2.00 PER BAG or about $24 PER YR ...... and that's with PRIME which means FREE SHIPPING and @ MY DOOR in TWO DAYS ! ..... PS , I originally signed up for PRIME ( only $79 per YR ) thinking it was only for books.Little did I know ! For those of you who have not yet done so I HIGHLY recommend it ! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT !

Our two dogs just love to begin the day with one of these as soon as they return from their morning walk. Beggin' Strips live up to the name and the picture of the dog in their ad could be and probably is an honest reaction from the Retriever. Grant it all dogs are different and ours are no exception; however, Beggin' Strips are in high demand and actually expected regardless of the dogs age. The 14 year old cannot hear nor see well; however, do not under any circumstances short change his routine. The 5 month old already knows most of the routine and expects a Strip as soon as she comes in from her morning walk. As an aside, we even tried hiding them as during the hiding of Easter Eggs and both of them found the strips in short order. The elasticity of demand is consistent and they can expect further contributions to their stimulus program.

Didn't like doesn't stay shut. I put in to airproof jar. Hopefully stays fresher lol anger than three days

I have two toy breed dogs, both over ten years old, and they have been Beggin' Strip junkies all their lives. There's an evening routine, and if I deviate from it (meaning FORGET TREAT TIME), they let me know that I have slipped in my duties.Beef bacon flavor is their favorite. I bought bacon/peanut butter flavor for them at a brick-and-mortar store, and they looked at me like I'd lost my mind. But they did eventually settle down and enjoy those too.Occasionally, I do try and mix it up a little by getting them something different. First of all Purina is a great brand. My dog & my Daughter's two dogs love these things. We have to break into small pieces. If we didn't it wouldn't be worth carrying inside. They have learned to go outside & come back in begging for a Beef Bacon Strip. I have to be careful they don't trip me. The dog love these things, they can't get enough, When I say came inside U want a treat here they come running. Couple of the dogs like to run off but when a treat is mentioned they have second thought. These are excellent for training a dog. Dogs love these Purina Beggin' Strips Beef Bacon.
