2" x20' ft Vinyl Patio Furniture Repair Strap Matte Finish Gray + 20 Rivets!

I replaced 5 vertical and 2 bottom straps my German Shepherd puppy chewed off. The directions are very good. The strap is extremely durable and strong but once soaked in boiled water as suggested it worked great. I wore leather gloves to protect my hands from the hot straps. Being a 68 year old grandma it was a little tough to pull the 2 1/2 inches so I adjusted 2 inches and it worked out just fine. I didn’t want to replace all of the straps since only 7 were needed. I was very happy with my color choice and quality. Hopefully my dog won’t eat anymore straps and I won’t need to buy more! But I definitely would buy again if needed!

GREAT PRODUCT AND EASY TO USE.

I didn't read the full description before perchance and didn't realize how much went into installing these. I was still able to get them on with my boyfriend's help but it was quite a process. They've held up well so far, have had them on for a few months though a very hot summer.

It is a hard install. I wanted to redo mine with the original double wrap. It would be impossible to do solo my holes were punched so I ordered the black plastic studs like on car plastic panels. The included ones didn't work. At 5000' boil is only 204 it should be easier with lower elevation.

After making 6 repairs to several deck chairs I am not happy with the clips they sent. They are not long enough to hold well. I've had 3 of the six repairs pop out because the clips didn't hold securely. I'm going to try some longer automotive trim clips to see if that fixes the issue. The instructions said it came with long and short clips but I only received what appear to be the short clips. The strapping itself seems to be sturdy and becomes very pliable and stretchy when heated in hot water.

The vinyl is thick, strong, and easy to install. Cut your pieces according to their little instruction sheet. A bit short. Then make some vinyl soup for a while. Some stayed boiling for 10-15 min with no issue. Wear some thick gloves cause they are hot and you have to work fast to stretch them out and connect before everything cools. Reheat if needed. Great color on this stuff too.

Product works great!! Boiling water to make it more playable worked great. It’s a workout to get just the right leverage to pull on the strap but we’ll worth the effort. Able to save my chairs from the garbage.

Used this product to repair patio chairs. Very important to measure and try one strip before cutting any more. Do not insert fasteners before heating as they become soft and break off. Definitely a two person job. Overall a good product.
