Outperforms price point.
Pleasantly surprised. Actually sounds good in a good set up (professional).

cost effective!
I'm using this as a vocoder mic with my Yamaha MODX8. So much less expensive than a real vocoder mic! I'm sure if I spent 10x as much a real vocoder mic would sound a little better, but for the 2 songs our band needs it on this is a completely effective choice.

My Pastor uses this every Sunday morning
This is a nice replacement pulpit microphone. It picks up good, is sturdy, and good quality build and finish. I bought it because our church pulpit didn't have a microphone mounted on it. Must have got lost somewhere over the years. They were using a stand microphone next to the pulpit, but that was in the way. Now, my Pastor uses it every Sunday morning and it works great.

Phantom power not needed
Been using 2 of these in my church for a while now, no complaints. These do not need phantom power which is what I was after; and no downside that I'm aware of for it. There is a sorta hidden on/off switch on the bottom end of it; that we figured out the hard way

Excellent quality mic
With high impedance matching transformer works great! No one could match the quality for the price of this item.

It is Just Ok.
Is it a little difficult to pick up voices? Not good in a courtroom. It is said that the voice is low and it is. Much lower then Shure, ATech,Samson or even VEC.If you can't beat a VEC mic. There are issues. If you can move your mouth very close or adjust the voice volume of the equipment, there is no problem.
