I am surprised from the sharp photos and high quality lens. yes, it is manual focus but easy easy to use with the perfect result

A few YouTube videos and articles written about this lens will serve you better than any review I could give it from a technical stand point. But I will say that I really like this lens. I like the full manual aperture and focus required with this lens. And the build quality is outstanding. If you like macro photography and have a little bit of experience with it then you will most likely really enjoy using this lens as well as the photography it can help you produce.

The level of sharpness from this lens is the most amazing part. Being able to go 2x magnification and keep that sharpness is beyond awesome.

This was one of the best investments in my photography hobby that I ever made! It takes some perseverance for a day or two to set up your camera and get used to manual focus, but it was very simple on my Canon M6 ii. Love love love this lens!!

I use - or used to use - my Laowa 65 mm 2X macro on a daily basis in my business and while I have been very pleased with the optics the focus ring has completely failed. It has taken me days to even get a reply from Laowa and then only to have them prevaricate with requests for additional "video" of the problem. A company truly interested in differentiating itself not only on lens quality but also standing behind its warranty and delivering exceptional customer service would by now have provided me with a return shipping label and offered to ship an immediate replacement. As it stands I am losing daily revenue and quite honestly wonder if it is really worth contemplating sticking with the Laowa brand versus a more reputable company.
