This looks like it was lacquered on the inside as well as the outside due to the spot that the lacquer missed. . In very fine print at the bottom of the box it states that it is lacquered. If that is the case, I will not drink out of it.

This product is neat and cute... but that's where the pros end. Inside the vessel/pitcher, you should find a tiny insert printed with font size so small that it's most appropriate for ants and ladybugs. If it's not there, good for you that you are reading this. Namely, if you start reading the part printed in the "larger" font, you will find (a) errors that humans with even below-baseline English should not make and (b) reference to the fact that this pitcher is coated with so-called "lacquer" of some sort, which defeats the purpose of a copper vessel. But for the cherry on top, when you flip to the side of this insert that is printed in a font size so small that you begin wondering whether you are a microbe, you should take a high resolution photo of it and blow it up: that page shows you an ISO lab test certificate (issued by Deep Metallurgical Services) for this product that contradicts the very NAME of this product (Pure Copper Pitcher) by showing you clearly that it is made with a large number of impurities, including (stay with me on this) zinc, tin, phosphorous, iron, nickel, beryllium, bismuth, antimony, and lead. That's right, folks - one would be reckless to use this pitcher if it was given out for free. The manufacturer might argue that tiny amounts of impurities are present in all copper products, but that does not fix the problem with the lacquered surface or justify the grossly misleading word "pure" in the product description or name... which is why I am having to return it.

Pleasantly surprised! Very well made. Easy to clean and take care of. As big as I hoped, but was actually expecting it to be smaller. Love it! Sits next to my chair in the living room. Going to get another for the nightstand.

No issue with the product but It is over expensive. It costed me more than twice the amount.

I really like the size. It pours perfectly. It looks great. I use it for water and for my evening beverage.

Some think copper products are bunk but more research and experience will prove copper and magnets do work.there is a reason why golfers wear copper or magnetic bracelets and I have relieved pain in my knee for years with copper or magnetic pads.I fill this up every night and first liquid in the morning or before bed. Great quality and the removable over cup is perfect for a 4 oz sip anytime. Very nice design as well.
