The best bathroom reader you’d ever want.
I really love this book. It’s kind of the new ‘bathroom reader’ book for the digital age as it covers so many things that us more net savvy folks are interested in, like YouTube, design, video game tech, etc. really brilliant and well crafted book

read and cherish
I've read quite a few books by Sudjic, it is pretty difficult to avoid him if you are interested in design and architecture. I had left off reading this one, fearing that it was a dreary A to Z of random topics. It is not strictly an A to Z, it is a series of 39 essays, ranging from Authentic to Zip, managing to get something for every letter, with a few extra essays for some letters.Sudjic has a very personal and informal style, a million miles from academic objectivity, but this is the perfect format for him. He waxes eloquent on favourite creators, gently pokes fun at himself and his idea of trendy clothes. He does have a clear agenda, that rings out across the book, but he knows plenty, and writes in an interesting fashion. It is easy enough to see him pulling together a really engaging exhibition on some topic, and he has done a fine job with this book. This is one to read and cherish.

Bauhaus Rules
A refreshing approach to the subject. No pretentious nonsense, similarly no erudition for erudition's sake. An easy to read style that can be treated as a coffee table book in that it is easily accessible by dropping into for short reads. This allows contemplation of the subject without brain numbing intellectual contortions. I found it interesting, thoughtfully relaxing - perhaps even intellectually therapeutic.

A really interesting and at times quirky book
Having heard extracts of this book on the radio I decided to follow it up. As an artist/designer/teacher I found it offered a fresh, lively, highly personal take on many aspects of the world of art and design. A book to dip into rather than reading in one go. Well worth buying.

A must read for anybody interested in the evolution of design in all its manifestations. Not so much a dictionary, as a fascinating delve into the thinking behind innovation.
