Very good spear tip.
I used this tip while hunting hogfish and snapper with a 6' pole spear in the Florida Keys. It was very effective at taking decent sized hogs and I detected no noticeable difference in how the spear flew between this and other heads that I use while hunting lionfish. The flopper served it's purpose well and kept the fish online until I could dispatch them with a knife and/or place them on a stringer.The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because of one through-and-through shot I had where the tip made contact with a rock face behind the fish, resulting in a flattened tip. This isn't unusual, and I was still able to successfully hunt with it afterward, but for no harder than it hit the rock I would've liked less damage to the material. Would still buy again in a heartbeat.
