Steens - Raw Manuka Honey MGO 83+, Cold Pressed New Zealand Natural Honey, Whole Comb Processed Raw Honey for Face, Skin, and Oral Consumption, Monofloral, 8.8 oz Jar

This one was the greatest or is great but I originally found this after using the really expensive manuka honey and I just couldn't keep up with it I need it and I found this price for a large jar was about $14.99 and for several months I bought it at that price then it went up to $20 a jar which I still bought it at that price now it has escalated to $30 a jar how did it go up that much I still buy it but it's a total ripoff yet still cheaper than your average manuka honey at starting at about 39 dollars a bottle and that's for the lowest MGOmethylglycoxylate which is the key ingredient in Manukahoney.. also the UMF on this one it's about 10 to 15 which you can use everyday one reason I do like it cuz I want to use it everyday getting into the higher UNF which I guess determines the amount of methylglycolate this high amount like 20 or 30 and it goes way higher as you UMF goes higher. These can only be used about twice a week even the manufacturer states that not to use it more than twice or 3 times a week. So this one Steens is an excellent choice and still cheaper than others yet I don't understand how the price could have gone from about $15 a jar $30 a jar in less than 8 months. Very unbelievable yet the product is good and still more affordable and I do recommend it hopefully the price will come down again..fyí the squeeze bottle is a more affordable option also they sell 7.9ozX4 jars which is the same as the 1lb jar yet way less price..If you're líke me & can't keep up with the high price these 4 jars are a good option íts exactly the same thing same size just way less éxpensive...

First time trying this brand and it seems like very good quality Manuka honey! Great value!

This honey is better then honey I ever had.

I have tried over a dozen different "Manuka" honey brands over they years and I have come to the conclusion that many of the so-called "100% Manuka" claims that are made by many companies are false. Some are probably blended with inferior honey and some are complete counterfeits. This is my second time purchasing this product. I LOVED the first batch of this Manuka (ordered around 11/2020), but this most recent batch was twice as viscous, and had a unfavorable smell/taste to it. I realize not every batch is going to be identical, but if I can't rely on a products flavor, going to be unlikely that I purchase that product again. I always feel bad leaving this type of reviews, but it's honest feedback, and I do hope that it helps the company and/or potential customers in the future.

Just got one bottle of Steens raw honey is ok as reviewed by other's . This is not the best one but not bad. No complain. I have tried few other brands of Manuka honey. Also "Manuka honey" purchased in New Zeland and it was great. Overall Manuka honey are good but very pricy.

I'm new to Steens honey so I figured I would try this one first. The bottle I received has a different label (blue instead of yellow). The label says MGO 83 but doesn't have the UMF 5+. This is not one of their mono floral manuka honeys so maybe they have decided not to rate this one. It is so yummy! I like the distinctive flavor and that it's not super sweet. Great value for the amount of money you're spending and great taste, definitely recommend, I've ordered a number of different manuka honey brands off of amazon at this point and I've yet to have made the decision to reorder rather than give the next a try but this time I will undoubtedly be choosing to reorder for the first timer.

I started taking Manuka honey about 6 months or so ago. I take it for its perceived health benefits and also simply because I enjoy it. I tried a few brands but mainly bought Manuka Doctor. However this seemed to increase in price every time I used it and when it reached £30 for a 500ml jar, I decided to look for a cheaper brand. I happened to come across this honey by Steens and it was available at a lower price as one of Amazon's lightning deals. I thought I would give it a try. I was concerned that it wasn't real Manuka honey - there are a lot of fakes out there - but it seems to be the real deal. It has a slightly stronger taste than other honeys I have tried but I really liked it. It also has a slightly grainy texture as it contains crushed whole honeycomb (the wax has been removed). Once you get used to the texture, the honey is really pleasant. I have now ordered another jar of this honey and will continue to buy it if it remains reasonably priced. Overall this is a really good buy.

Delicious flavour, nice thick consistency and UMF certified medicinal benefits. Apart from the wonderful taste, this recently managed to see off a recent and quite nasty flu, managing to noticeably soothe and heal all of the family's sore throats. It does actually seem to work!

Well this was a healthy treat to myself instead of a bottle of wine. I have to say, I love love love the taste. I Had tried Manuka honey years ago but nothing like this. I can see this becoming a regular treat for my Immune system. Very happy customer!Well done

I'm used to the better quality Manuka with high UMFs but I'm cutting costs and this does just fine, typical Steens quality and taste, it's the bigger container 500g so it's good value.

I bought this as I saw it on The Supervet. He uses it on the animals for speedy healing. I had surgery and I have been taking 5ml every day and it works great. I have less stomach issues and it seems to be healing me well.
