I got this wonderful little ice ball maker with the intentions of giving it to my husband in a basket for when we close escrow(For his man cave/bar). I of course had to try it a few times and I really love it! The mold comes with 4 circles to fill up with water. The material is like a silicone I want to call it, extremely flexible, easy to put together and take apart. I of course had to use it in my chargers cup since I don't drink. These balls of ice last FOREVER! It last WAY LONGER than a cup full of ice would've lasted. I loved that because I can't drink water unless it's freezing cold!!! It gives it such a classy look, neat, and cool. I loved it using it with water I think my wonderful husband will love it when he actually pops them in a glass cup of alcohol. They'll chill his drink, and it'll look super nice. I think I really scored with this one! I think it's an excellent gift weather it be for the holidays now or any other reason throughout the year :) very easy to use and clean, looks nice & classy(best part is t actually works!). I recieved this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I highly reccomend this ice ball maker!

This is an easy to use ice ball maker that’s almost foolproof. You won’t get 100% perfectly round ice balls, there will be some distortion, part of this I believe to be from the malleability of the silicon as it allows the ice to expand slightly unevenly. But I do think some of the imperfections can be lessened with fine tuning your technique. I’m still experimenting with this but I think once you find the optimal fill level and make sure that the top and bottom are as firmly seated around the joints as they can be, it helps some of the imperfections.I found that the cubes were easy to remove from the tray. You may have some water on the top of the tray, but it easily breaks away as you separate the two halves. The mold doesn’t impart any weird taste to the ice and seems well made.I think for as simple a device, this is a lot of fun. Having larger ice cubes - especially round cubes (notice that it’s always the edges and corners of non-balled ice that melt so quickly - which these have none of!) - makes for a colder drink with less dilution. Even with the slight imperfections. In fact, I’m happy with this mold despite the fact that the balls have some slight imperfections based on the ease of use and the fun of round ice balls.I purchased this ice mold at a discounted price in exchange for my honest assessment and review of the product. I’d recommend this mold to friends and family based on my use at this point.
