Spellbinding Images: A Fantasy of Witches
Spellbinding Images : A Fantasy Coloring Book of Witches was my introduction to Nikki Burnette's work. I really like this book and, I purchased 3 more of her books..What I like most about these 20 witches are the quirky fun style of the pictures. There is one that I could imagine saying "really what am I doing here?" The expression given to each of the faces is done well rather than a " frozen " expression. It is my opinion that this book would be appropriate for adults and teens. Some of the witches are posed and wearing outfits on the "sexy-side" my grandmother would say "skimpy". It is tame and tasteful one compared to some books I have seen available here.Features to this book:~20 one-sided pages that vary from detailed to plain. This is nice if you don't have a lot of time to color.~ The paper is thicker than average copier paper. My gel pens don't leave any bleed through or shadowing. My markers do bleed through.*I use a piece of cardboard from a calendar with piece of heavy weight construction paper taped to it. That way I can change the paper periodically and reuse the cardboard.~ pictures size generally the designs go from top to bottom of the page. The background is simple in some picture.Drawbacks1 the artist provides a frame to the pictures but they are symmetrical. The outside is thin while the top and bottom are thick. The far side runs into the binding . Although the design it's self doesn't.. Book is non-perforated and doesn't like to stay open. If I can avoid it I don't like to break the spine.Other then the two mentioned issues ; I really like this book and would recommend it to others.

I Love Her Whimsical Witches
I'm about to reorder a 2nd copy because I smudged the picture I was coloring, the more I tryed to fix it the worse it got. Anyhoo I decided to review after I destroyed my picture. This was one of the first books I ordered on Dec. 10, 2015 when I started this journey. I read a review that this book was for kids. I have to disagree, when I color a picture, I look at the picture first and think of the colors. Every picture you learn something new. I have to admit I'm not fond of going top to bottom when coloring. I also get involved and forget to turn it around. So to the review, very sharp pictures, medium weight paper with pictures on one sided paper. I have all of her books even the new grey scale for beginners and advanced. Gorgeous pictures, go back and look you will recognize some of the pictures from previous books. Still beautiful and ready to color. I have enjoyed this book and have all of them, all 5 stars easy.

The Wicked Witch has gone 21st Century - YIPPEE!
As a method of inducing calm in response to periods of frustration or tension or just to fill an idle minute or two, or even an hour or two, this is a book the will leave you wishing that it was at least twice its actual size if not more. The illustrations are adult views of a world usually viewed as a childish fanatsy; the witch is about as far from the stereotypical Wicked Witch of the West as it is possible to be, young, beautiful, and outraeously underdressed, yet witch she must be, being, as she is, surrounded by all the necessary acoutements of the witch. This makes it so much more fun to colour than traditional black. This is another recommendation for this book - there are not vast swathes of black already filled in as is the case with far too many adult colouring books. and ensures that I, for one, will be purchasing more of Nikki Burnette's books.

Love this series!
I bought the series of these coloring books because the pictures are stunning! The pictures are lovely and my only complaint is that I wish there were more pages in the books! I plan on buying some of these as gifts for some of my other friends who are fans of fantasy themed items. I would suggest these for anyone who enjoys coloring, fantasy, and may need to have some down time!

Fabulous coloring book, fabulous artist!
I absolutely LOVE my new coloring book. And the artist who draws these amazing pictures is an amazing woman who took the time to look at my finished pages when I posted them on Facebook. I am definitely getting more of her coloring books. And she's got them for advanced coloring levels as well!

One-sided
I love all the pictures! Lines are crisp and clean. One-sided pictures so no run- through. The pictures don't have crazy detail, just right.

Too many heavy lashed pictures.
I like her drawings on the whole, but have trouble giving her a higher number of stars because of her overdrawing of the eyelashes. I like everything else about her pictures except for the lashes. They seem to just overpower the entire picture with a dark blob.

Good for kids, okay for adults.
Bought this as I wanted something different to my Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland colouring books. I knew it was going to be a bit in the childish side, but sometimes that is what you need when de-stressing.It's quite a thin book, and the back cover shows you all the pictures in the book, in the order they're printed in. The pictures are also single sided, so if you wanted to stick them up on a door or wall you can.So far I've only used gel pens in this book, and that hasn't gone through the page, however, I'm not sure about how well the paper would hold up against felt tips. To be safe, go with pencil crayons or wax crayons, as they won't show through the page at all.Overall, I think this is more for the younger generations than an adult colouring book, but worth it if you want cartoony witches to colour in over the more intricate drawings of something like the Harry Potter colouring book.

Great images
Fantastic witchy images in this A4 size book ,,; great for any witch or Halloween lover ,,, the images are single sided but the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the paper is very thin,,, very difficult to layer up pencils without the paper falling to bits ,;; you could use pens or markers with plenty of paper or card between images ,,, I don't really use pens or markers much so I couldn't say if or how much they bleed

Loved it.
This was fun to colour. The pages are good regarding colouring markers, I noticed very little bleed through. It must be noted that I am very heavy handed with my markers and thus use hard card under the image I'm colouring in marker all the time.

Truly Spellbinding...
This is a great colouring book with interesting images. They can be coloured in as simply or complicatedly (Is that a word?) as you wish, and would look great framed for a fantasy themed room.

Great....
Really nice book, detailed picturs to colour, some will take more time than others which is great depending on your time scale. Love this book. Highly recommend.
