Quality lights easy to use and install worth the price fun to use

I bought this product mostly for the L connectors for my recently purchased Monster brand LED strip lights. I wanted to cut them to make a rectangular shape so they stick on the backside of my monitor. The lights I bought didn’t come with any connectors, and I didn’t want to bend them at the corners because I wanted a clean look. For what I was doing a had to make 6 different cuts, where I then peeled and connected the cut LED strips using the L connectors included in this pack. It did take a bit of time,(30-40min as this was my first time)but the look in the end paid off. One very important thing I want to say if you are doing this yourself for the first time MAKE SURE THE PLUS (+) ON THE STRIP ALWAYS MATCHES PLUS (+) when you are cutting and connecting your strips. This is especially important with the usb connector as you could short the whole strip. I really wanted to write this review because I couldn’t be happier how everything turned out, and because I did see a couple negative reviews that didn’t reflect my experience with this product, and wanted to tell everyone that this is a great set and worth the money. Just make sure you know what you are doing before you start cutting, and adding electricity to the mix. And BTW if anyone is wondering which strip lights I’m using there should be a picture above, and I bought them at Walmart for 30$. Thank you for reading!

PROS: This is easy to use and install. CONS: The one issue, which could be a major issue for some is that the corner connectors may not work with your light strip. This product was paired with the light I purchased and I assumed that meant they would work together. While there is no issue with straight connectors, the problem is with the corner connectors. You would notice letters on the connectors and the light strip e.g RGB. This represents colour . RBG = Red Blue Green In order for all the colours to work these need to be in identical on the strip and connectors. Unfortunately the light strip was RBG and the corner connectors were RGB which resulted in some colours not working.

Works perfect for the non waterproof lights. The connectors are nice and tight so it does not fall apart. I initially cut the light at a slight angle so it didn't make full contact and the red light would flash on and off so the color didn't match. I then took it apart and made sure I cut it straight. It was a nice tight fit once everything was square and worked perfectly.

No your pin number and settings I needed a three pin… And these are three Pine but not the same configuration

Cheaper than anywhere else we found even Wal Mart & more lights. Son loves them & they went around his 14.8x14.8 room at the top, down the edges, around the bottom, & even around his bed! Couldn’t have been happier! They’ve been on over a year & still work the same as the day we put them up, well made, & have never had any issues with them working exactly as described! GREAT PURCHASE!!!

Experienced in electronics here, I can honestly say this product is garbage and DOES NOT maintain a proper electrical connection. Even if you finally think you've got it working, you'll eventually notice your lights randomly go out, or display uneven colors and brightness between each segment. Some connection segments are so bad they even cause entire colors to go out. This is because the cheap contacts don't allow consistent and proper current to flow between all 4 contacts throughout your entire strip. It was very odd because upon close inspection it appeared the connectors dug in deeply into the copper pads and appeared to have a firm contact. Yet despite this, they still would randomly fail. I verified these issues using a current meter. One minute they'd work, the next they'd lose partial or full contact. These cheap connectors caused the current flow to be so wonky and inconsistent that I lost confidence in the product and decided to hand solder them all with homemade jumper wires instead. Now they are 100% bright with all colors through to the very end of each strip. But then to add insult to injury, I couldn't even get the peel-and-stick strip clips to stick to anything longer than 5 minutes. There was nothing in this kit that worked right, so I finally trashed the entire kit and hand soldered all my connections with homemade jumper wires instead; and bought real 3M to stick the clips properly. Further research shows this kit is so bad that there are other manufacturers who use this kit as an example of what NOT to buy. They are quite aware of these cheap connectors being sold and make a much higher quality version in response. They even use these cheap connectors in their ads to do a side-by-side comparison of a cheap connector compared to their quality one. I hope this review spares someone a headache. It's so bad that other manufacturersResearch LED strip soldering on YouTube.

Hate turning on the lights at 3am and being blinded and not being able to go back to sleep. You also don't want to piss off your gf and piss all over the seat since you can't see? Than get this lol its perfect at night for going to the bathroom and all my friends get a kick out of it.
