MATERIAL QUALITY1. This infuser PITCHER and all its' parts are of EXCELLENT QUALITY. The carafe material is very fine an feels durable, as advertised.2. The LID again is made of solid good quality material, inside and outside. Once sealed, it is 100% leak proof and the rubber/silicone (?) gasket inside is also of good quality (not the cheap rubber that one can sometimes get). Also one can loosen it during the day, spin it to get the coffee mixed in the water (Iuse it for coffee, however it be used for tea and fruit infusions equally well)3. The HANDLE has a slide of cover that prevents jab marks on hands when the pitcher is full and heavy.4. When I ordered I wondered if the FILTER would be fine enough to not allow the coffee powder (I use medium grind but there is always fine residue) to sieve through. I was pleasantly surprised when there was no residue from the coffee powder. For those who are finicky perfectionists (no offense, just an observation), there might be a 2-5 % residue that can be further filtered with a muslin cloth set in a filter cone. The material used in the filter is also of great quality and had not discolored after 3 uses.5. What you see and what the company advertises on its' Amazon product page is exactly what you get.EXTRAS1. My package came with a log handle cleaning brush, which was a pleasant surprise and again was of very good quality. The quality told me that the company was not simply doing a check list activity of providing an extra item but was really and truly focused on quality and customer experience as its' brand equity.2. The e-recipes are interesting and I plan to try them.3. The messenger bot experience after sale offers good prompts to get the recipe book, and sends recipes to try. I like the prompts/reminders. Also love that the company is tech savvy and uses social media to interact with the customer. Very progressive customer experience.COLD BREW COFFEEThe coffee/cold brew is very smooth and not as strong as one gets in a french press. So if you like really strong coffee, I suggest that you use a french press or some other hot method (Bialetti maybe) OR just don't dilute the brew. Alternatively you could use very strong coffee. Just know that in the cold brew method the the coffee becomes smooth (which I personally love) so the 'kick' kinda becomes a nudge.PRICING1. The discounted price is fine for this product. I am not sure that the actual price would be appropriate. I will want to use the pitcher for a year or more to see how long and well it's parts (filter, gasket) will hold up. However since it comes with a a Lifetime Happiness Guarantee and since the product quality is excellent, this does not concern me.2. I am disappointed and concerned whether I am getting a true discounted price since the box has no MRP.SUGGESTIONS1. I think that the filter should go lower in the pitcher (half way point now) so one can brew lesser coffee, of required. What will I do with the extra coffee if I need to travel, for example?2. There could also be details on whether an extra filter can be ordered in case this one becomes damaged (rips, etc) for some reason. I like to know if I have options.OVERALLA GREAT BUY and I highly recommend it.

the coffee mesh strainer does not fit properly so that the lid can close. It is a design flaw in the product. I end up using the metal strainer more often because of this. Other than that its a great product and good quality. Only wish there was a way to close the top in order to let the coffee to brew.

Have been making cold brew coffee for a while now. Broke several coffee makers - mostly during cleaning (as they were glass jars). Even adding coffee into these glass jars was not very straight forward. Cleaning was another task in itself. This product is quite effective and value for money. Its not glass and as such breakage is not an issue. Cleaning is very easy, so is adding coffee, and refrigeration is convenient. Am happy with this purchase.My solo recommendation to the manufacturer is to explore decreasing the gap between the jar and the handle. Not that the current handle is inconvenient, reducing the gap will create more space in most refrigerator shelves. Thanks for considering.

The product seems to be made of good high quality plastic materials. The airtight seal is very good and reassuring and it is very easy lock and unlock while pouring or filling the pitcher.The pitcher is perfect for cold brew coffee as it takes quite a while to brew coffee using cold brew and it is advisable to make a large quantity in one go as it easily can be refrigerated and used for a week.The follow up that the instacuppa team does as soon as you receive the order is tremendous. Providing all the recipes along with videos and customer support links was very prompt and professional. Kudos to that!Overall satisfaction is good and will recommend to others looking for a budget way to cold brew their coffee at home!

I bought this for making my cold brew coffee. The product build quality and finish is good. It does the job it is supposed to. However, the cold brew made using this pitcher does not turn out as strong as I want it. Seems to be due to how the narrow central mesh chamber packs all the coffee grinds together. It does the job it it supposed to but requires longer steep times to achieve the required strength of cold brew. I think it would work more efficiently as a fruit infuser.

This is the second time I bought the product in 2 years; this time, it did not come with the cover. The silicon base ring also is not symmetrical.

I've been a great fan of cold brewing ever since i heard about it and gave it a shot. I was on the lookout for a cold brew maker from then on. But the Mizudashi cold brew maker was not only on the higher side of cost for me but was also made of glass. And then on my occasional searches for a cold brew maker, I chanced on the InstaCuppa. The price was ok (c'mon who doesn't love a lower price), the quantity was fantastic (1.3L) and it was tritan plastic which i researched and found to be ok (the jury is still out on it but most people said it was safe). So i bought it and already had a few cuppas and got one of my colleagues totally hooked on cold brew. Just today, she came asking me if i can make and get it to office once more. And i can easily oblige because where i used to use a funnel and stuff coffee and sugar into a glass whisky bottle, now all have to do is put the grounds in the provided mesh cup and dunk in water and wait for about 20 hours for the coffee to get ready.

Pros:Great sealing, kept it accidentally, horizontal in fridge due to lack of space. it did not leak.Nice positive feedback when you thread the infuser in.Good cold brew coffee, superb volume. You can use it for couple of days as long its cold, yet to infuse fruits with it.Cons:I expected it to be glass, I did not go so carefully when I ordered. I was keen considering the time of contact with food substances. But then I can toss it with the other vessels for the maid to have a go at it.No cleaning brush as promised.
