The media could not be loaded. We wanted something different for our tree and this was perfect! There are 8 different settings to choose from. You can have the steady all on, breathing color transitions, or flashing/blinking effects. Has a soft silicone button on the plug-in box that is super easy to operate to select the light setting. The video has the steady breathing setting on.The ends of the string lights are not your standard plug-ins so make sure you aren't planning to daisy chain any other lights or tree toppers unless they have they matching plug. I have included pictures of each end.These are star shaped lights and stars have pointy ends. Therefore, when you go to unwrapped them from storage, they tend to hook on to each other. Make sure you are ready to practice patience and don't be yanking or try to pull them apart. Otherwise, you could damage your string lights if you get carried away.These were the 49 feet length star lights and it just barely fit my standard 6 foot artificial tree with the basic wrap/drap around lighting technique. Meaning it was wrapped around the tree and not each individual branch. You would need at least two strings of these lights if you wanted to wrap each branch on a 6-8 foot tree.

It's alright. They're not yellowish or gold like the pics show. It really is just a slightly warm white color. You can also see the lightbulbs inside because the stars are semi clear. I was hoping they'd disperse the light inside the stars so I wouldn't see the lightbulbs inside, but oh well. They're still pretty.

I can only give this product a 3, because I can only really say that the lights work just fine. The shipment came late, and when it did the box the lights were in was open and battered and it was shipped in a plastic bag, not a box, but a bag. Not only that but the timer plug and, if it was supposed to have one, the remote control were missing. If it weren't for the fact that we had a similar string of lights that was compatible with this one, we'd have had to ask for a refund or replacement.

This is just the thing I wanted to get for decorating a year round are. Love the feature of being able to extend them simply by plugging one into the other. Use one controller to establish the uniform pattern of lighting for all 5 sets.Good light that looks great in day or night. Colors are very good and the controller has the advantage of setting them to turn on and off the same time each day by programming them.Sorry there is no remote control to these.
