VTech Spin and Learn Color Flashlight

Bought as gift. Mom and baby both love this. Indestructible. Baby supposedly threw and dropped this multiple times and it still work great! And battery life is awesome. Great baby/toddler toy. Worth it especially for the price. And also amazon internationally shipped this a week early so that's a great plus!

Purchased this for a birthday present for my three year old niece! She absolutely loves playing with it! Its a fun teaching tool as well! The colors are perfect for a little girl.

This flashlight basically does what I expected it to do. And my (15 mo.) son is a fan.I do wish that it was designed a little differently though. I wish that the three settings on the "power button" were "Off", "Silent, but light still turns on" and "Sound on, low/medium volume". Instead you can either turn the thing completely off, have the volume at low/medium (which is plenty loud) with the light functioning, or have the volume set to very loud (also with light functioning). So to have it act as a "Flashlight" at all, you have to turn on the many various audio outputs. So that's a little bit of a bummer.Also, somebody else reviewed this item before I bought it and said something along the lines of "the light isn't too bright" (as a positive - like it won't blind you). However, I find the light to be very bright. If you get it in your eyes (or your kid gets it in your eyes, or your kid gets it in their own eyes) it is not pleasant. I am trying to think up a way to put some kind of damper on that. Like taping on some wax paper or something...But aside from a couple nit-picky things, this toy has a lot of functions and sounds and has already survived several drops onto the hardwood. And like I said, my son loves carting it around and spinning the ring with the animals on it, and pushing the buttons. If you're looking for something along these lines, I would recommend this product. It's certainly a nice option instead of having him play with the tv/Bluray/stereo remotes, or our may-actually-need-them-in-an-emergency actual flashlights.

Youngest granddaughter absolutely loves this 6 months after Christmas. It's adorable and she loves the sounds and pushing buttons. It's easy for her to carry around it take on trips and it holds up fantastic to toddler antics. Dropped, thrown etc, it keeps working!

My grandaughter loves this toy. She doesn't fully know how to use the buttons but she likes that its a flashlight and plays music. Its fun to watch her hide under a blanket and use the light.

I bought these for two toddlers for when they are out searching for fireflies. They were perfect for their little hands!
