I purchased this product to install on my car as under-dash lighting and possibly for other projects that may come up. So far I am very impressed with the product aside from the caveat that the self-adhesive could be a bit stronger.The product is EXTREMELY bright. I installed 1 foot of these under the front dash, and also under the driver and passenger sears in my 2000 Eclipse GT to light up the front and back foot wells, and this product makes an ocean of blue. They were extremely easy to cut into individual strips and to re-solder connections onto. Will add more on this later. Comes with a quick-connect dongle on one end, and a 12v red/black (power/grnd) wires on the other end to either connect with the adapter, or wire directly to a power source. Covered in a clear silicon-type sealant to protect the board (also diffuses the light nicely)They were very simple to cut and solder. To do so you need to cut where indicated (there will be a white line with a little scissor icon after every 3rd LED). To solder new connections, you will need to peel back the silicone adhesive to expose the contacts, one will be labeled with a + which is the power, and another with a - which is the ground. Solder your wire to these, push the silicone back down, and either secure with electrical tape, or a fresh dab of silicone. You could also buy LED ribbon end caps with wire holes, but this is unnecessary.Excellent and bright strip light, I like it.The customer service also is very good, they will help you solve your any problem quickly. They will recommend you pay attention to the installation and working details.I have got another Panel Light, it also is excellent, this is a nice LED store.
