A jig-saw as light & handy as a small pistolshaped drill!
Small, ergonomic, ,just make sure workpiece is clamped down secorely..before beginning cut.

Not so fast...!!!
I despise advertising where "little things" are allowed to be "gotten away with" and when confronted STILL won't be addressed. Take, for instance, this otherwise really neat little saw. There IS NO LED LIGHT on it - AS ADVERTISED!! Why, there isn't even a "charge light" to tell you, when it's being charged or not!! You just have to guess. And shame on me, I'll take the rap for this, I didn't realize the voltage on this was going to limit my ability to use this the way I wanted to. OK, fair is fair, I don't think it's right to hold this against the seller/company so know that while this is a really great little tool the amount of battery time is not too long. Sure, it depends on the demand of what one is cutting - thickness, etc. - but one thing is for sure, when it's dying it's quick. I was using it for pruning and since I was wearing decent work gloves I didn't realize how warm the saw got as it was dying. No, it's not dangerous, just interesting that it happened. There is one blade included and I have never seen a blade that I found out is called a "SHANK" blade. Meanwhile, responding to the "up selling" of additional blades, seen as the usual advertisement that is seen with many items sold, I ordered the blades only to find out that WHAT WAS RECOMMENDED WAS NOT SHANK BLADES, they are the "U" type!! The instructions make it clear - ONLY uses Shank blades so I have to return these and I've since ordered the correct ones.I dropped one star off of the rating due to what I call the "fraudulent advertising". I was going to drop another but like I said, it's my fault I didn't realize the voltage and really, it is a nice little tool.

It's not exactly what I wanted, but it works until I can find something else.
I really wish it didn't take two hands just to switch it on. I have tendonitis so, it's almost impossible to push the safety button & use the trigger button with one hand. Otherwise, it works well for small jobs.

Compact, non-variable speed, battery built in
Powerful compact saw. Won't last for larger projects, but for $32 it's great to have.4 stars due to non-variable speed.Pros:-Small, light-weight-Powerful enough for light/medium work-Replacement saw blades found easily at dollar/discount stores-Li-ion battery, no memory effect, charge when you feel like it without hurting the battery.Cons:-Only 1 speed - either it's on or off, no variable speed available.-The LED light is nice, BUT, it only comes on when the saw is on. It would be nice if you could press the trigger half way to trigger the light so that you could see before cutting.-Battery is built in, and uses a ac/dc adapter with a non-generic plug.-No charging indicator light, and no way to tell when charge is complete or if it's even charging. I called customer service and they recommended leaving the charger plugged in for a minimum of 7 hours when the device shows signs of the battery running low.

So far works great.
Bought this specifically to cut branches up for disposal. Worked perfectly. Since I didn't use it for cutting boards were it's constantly under power the battery held up fairly well. Will buy another one if ever needed for replacement. Maybe if I did carpentry work where it is used constantly the battery might come up short. But for now I'm very satisfied. 8-20-2020. Still works great. I didn't expect it to work like a heavy duty cutter would, but works sufficiently for my needs. I will not condemn a tool because someone screwed up in the advertisement and said it had a light on it. Don't care, don't see it as a problem!

Hummmmmm New or Used that is the question.
While I just opened the box less than 10 minutes ago. I have noticed that the plastic bag that holds the instructions book is ripped. The saw blade was loose in the box. Now that I look at the product box it’s messed up where it tape that held the box closed is missing. The saw it’s self seems to be in working order and doesn’t have any damage to it. I paid for new not used so a little upset. I will test out a few days to make sure it works but it’s possible I will return not due to faulty product due to questionable sales ethics. *** stars are for the questions of new or used.

Nice saw for gourd cutting
This saw was recommended in an article in The Gourd Magazine and I have used it on a couple of gourd projects and it cuts nicely. I bought U Shank blades and they work fine even though the instructions that came with it say T shank only. The only thing I don't like is where the button is to unlock the trigger. It's a bit awkward for me to use.

dumb charger, decent item
so i bought this item specifically to convert to a theragun style percussion massager. it actually does that pretty well, since the stroke length is 1/2 inch and rate is something like 2000 strokes per minute.the jigsaw is still louder than some power tools but definitely quieter than my worx 18v lithium jigsaw. using an iphone app for measuring Decibels, this was about 80db from 1 foot away. my worx jigsaw was 90db. so not as quiet as a hypervolt or purewave (about 65db), but still good for the price.here's whats not good, the item is advertised as a built in 7.2v lithium power source with an unspecified capacity. the proprietary charger supplied is a 10v 100mAh charger with no light or indication of charging. basically 100mAh is a very slow rate of charge. my purewave is a 8.4v 1000mAh charging, and takes about 30-50min to fully charge. this jigsaw takes 'up to 10 hours to charge' according to the manual.so basically they cheaped out by supplying a charger that can continuously charge without harming the battery because the rate is so slow, instead of supplying a quickcharger that will auto shutoff once the voltage is correct.overall its still a good item, just has this slow charge flaw that makes it so you kindof need to charge it overnight. lame

Great for quick light cutting
Works well for cutting small pieces of plywood or plastic.

You get what you pay for...
This is not a bad tool, as long as you keep expectations to a minimum. It lacks the power necessary to make it anything more than an extremely light duty saw - it is definitely not a reciprocal saw!The battery does not hold much of a charge - you will be charging more than working if you plan to do more than a few cuts at a time. And, as pointed elsewhere, the battery cannot be replaced when it eventually fails, making the devise essentially disposable. (*that is, unless you have some electronic skills and can find replacements when the time comes)However, $25 for a cordless jigsaw that does, cut, eventually, may not be a bad thing for any casual user with one or two small projects and limited space. If so, investing in good blades from a reputable company may make this useful and reduce frustration. Blades are NOT included, by-the-way.Even so, just don't expect to be chomping down 2x8 with this. Soft wood with a thickness up to 1 inch / 2.5cm should be OK. PVC, plastic and small metal - say, 14-16 mil - pipes and tin is also alright with proper blade.

No Operator's Manual - not impressed!
No Operator's Manual with the tool. I know it said the packaging was defective but it never said there was no manual. Maybe make a better effort to describe what's missing next time.

Perfect percussion massager under £50
The Black + Decker LPS7000 is really good compact and budget jigsaw for a percussion massager. I bought this thinking it would be cheaply built and lacking the saw strength, but I was wrong. I recommend it to anyone looking at making a under £80 percussion massager. The only problem I have with it is that it has an annoying buy easy to use charging system and that you can't lock the jigsaw to keep sawing without having your finger on the trigger. But hey, you pay for what you get.
