Works with PCI Express 2.0
My PCI Express version was 2.0, was a bit unsure if it will work. Can't say about the speed comparisons but plugged it in and it works. You can use HWinfo64 utility to find which version of PCI does your system has if you wanted to.The card was much smaller then the slot. It only takes limited space but works great.

Item bought new was sent a used one. It worked tho... some say it won't process data and only charges... the unit I received did both data and charging. No driver install needed.

Win10 driver nightmare
Bought this because it purports to have 10gbps per port instead of sharing that bandwidth over several. After install, running the setup program fails and tells me that I don’t have a compatible card installed. The readme specifies an INF but windows tells me that the Win10 default usb3.1 INF is the latest and greatest. Forcing the INF on the disk gives me a message that it’s probably not compatible and it likely won’t work correctly, so I opted for the Microsoft driver since not even the install software seemed to like card/driver combo out of the box.Hooked up my Quest2, hoping to pull a little bit more bandwidth than my previous card and get rid of some compression artifacts I’ve been dealing with - the video is jittering and the audio is popping and dropping out. Tried to manually increase the bitrate and no dice. Re-installed the old card and everything works again.I realize I may have had a better result if I had not already had a card with a similar chipset before this one, other people in the support forums for those chipsets seem to report similar issues. This is my third attempt to squeeze maximum performance out of my HMD and neither of the other cards nor the onboard 3.0 ports on my mobo have given me nearly this much trouble.Avoid this card.

Works great, easy to install, no connection issue.
I have newer computer that only has one type c port and wanted some extra for the future so this card actually works the best. This card is great to have if you are looking to add some extra type c ports to a new or even older. The first thing I will note is that this device does come with a low profile bracket so if you are looking for something that you can use on a lower profile computer this works great. The nice thing about a type c card compared to a USB 3.0 is that you do not require additional power in order to run it. Also you will need to make sure your motherboard has a PCI-E slot that is at least PCI-E x 4 and note this is This will work on your graphic card slot as well if you happen to have a slot open. Because if it is PCI-E x 1, it will not work but for most other PCI-E slots it will work.. Another thing that is nice is that you just plug it in and it should automatically work for your PC. I have windows 10 and it started working upon boot up. I did not have to install any disk driver or additional drivers. I am unsure how it will work for windows 7 or 8 but for windows 10 it works pretty well. I am able to plug in four portable hard drives at once and it was able to power all of them no problem. The transfer speed is blazing fast through this card but note it does depend on the device you have plugged in as well. There are only two type c ports that are side by side which is good for those bulkier USB ports. You can plug a hub into this to give you more slots if you really wanted to. The spacing makes it so that the devices you are plugging in do not get in the way of each other. For example if you are trying to plug in two big type c USB drive, it will not cause problems with each other. There are no connection issues nor heating issues. I have tried this directly below my GPU and above my GPU and it still works fine with no heat issues. It does not come with any screw to screw this card to your case so you may need to find that but most cases I have seen have screws or latches built in nowadays. It again does have a low profile bracket if you are going to be using this in a low profile desktop but I found it usually only has a PCI-E x 1 which does not work with this card unfortunately. Overall this is a pretty good card to have. It is very easy to install and with windows 10 it automatically starts working. It has pretty good transfer speeds even with both type c ports being used. There is no bottle neck issues or connection issues. The only down sides are that it does not come with a screw to mount the card in. Also this is not considered a thunderbolt so if you are trying to plug in a thunderbolt only drive into this it will not read.

Blew an inductor after a month; zero response from LTERiver for support
Worked fine for a month than with a loud bang discovered it wasn't working. Examining the card reveals a 4R7 inductor which failed. Reaching out to the company for warranty yielded zero response. Cannot recommend this product.
