I am more than impressed with what this little tool can do for the price. I was able to do variant coding on a W212 Mercedes, Airmatic calibration and it still had a lot of other useful features( it was able to access all of the 46 modules installed on the Merc). I also used it on a BMW, Toyota Sienna and a Ford Ranger truck and it was able to access all of the modules there as well, perform live tests, actuations, adaptations ( I saw the option to perform shift adaptations on the Mercedes but I haven't tried it yet) and resetting to default values where applicable. One cool thing I like about it is the ability to perform graphing ( to a limited extent - not oscilloscope detail but still on par with equivalent but more expensive tools on the market like SnapOn or Matco). The not so great parts would be the other, non diagnostic related functions like: 1) Email sharing of the diagnostic files ( they have an embedded app but it doesn't work with yahoo or gmail servers - I got around it by downloading the yahoo app and using that one to send files to my computer) 2)The tutorial section ( it's pretty much non existent and for the most part doesn't even connect to the Autel servers) 3) The complete lack of wiring diagrams and any sort of schematics. Overall this is a great tool to have around for working on your car, pre purchase inspections and helping out friends. It's biggest plus in my opinion is it's price, none of the competitors can even get close to it price wise. Keep in mind that you have to update frequently to be able to work with modules in newer vehicles. Out of the box it has a 1 year free subscription included, after that if you want to update it you have to pay around 600$ per year.

Powerful and Easy to Use Diagnostic Tool
I’ve been using the scanner and it has been a very reliable tool for vehicle diagnostics. It allows full system scans, reads and clears codes, shows live data, and supports bidirectional tests, which makes troubleshooting much easier. The interface is intuitive, the system runs smoothly, and the screen size is comfortable to work with. It supports a wide range of vehicle brands and the menus are easy to navigate. A solid option for both personal use and small workshops looking for a versatile and dependable scanner.

Good value for the price
For the price it did everything I thought it would. Took a little while to figure how to update the database and finally had to call customer support. The memory card shipped with it was 4 gig and it is not big enough to fit all the updates on it. Had to buy a larger memory card to fit the updates on it. No battery in the unit but powers up fine when plugged into the car. It reads more codes and modules than any hand held scanner I've had. The software is little cluncky but does work fine. I wish it had scaling on the graph functions, they are auto scale and are a little annoying trying to watch the graphs while the scale is changing all the time. There may be a way to change it to manual scale but I don't know how. Some of the things I have used it for so far - 1) troubleshoot the transmission on my daughters 2000 mazda 626, recorded the gear requested and actuall gear. 2) troubleshoot a bad wire on the Mass Air flow sensor on my friends Ford 500, recorded the MAF while driving. 3) Troubleshoot the air doors on my 2004 tahoe, three times. 4) Troubleshoot the automatic transfer case on the tahoe. 5) checked codes on 2006 impala SS. 6) Found the burned out light on a Dodge Ram pickup (Dodge has a message on the dash that tells the driver a light is out, doesn't say which one but the scanner does tell which one).

Must-have scanner
It's been almost a month since I got the mk808k-bt scanner, and it really makes my work much easier, I'm no expertmechanic, but this tool has seriously wowed me with its strong features and quick speed. This mk808k-bt tool handles a bunch of different vehicles, letting me easily check codes and use special functions acrossall sorts of makes and models. And the Bluetooth connection just makes diagnosing stuff a breeze. What really gets me is how solid this thing feels. I feel like i can rely on it for the long haul. Out of all the scanners I've tried.the mk808k-bt has really set a high bar, showing it's a pro-level tool for diagnosing. Overall, the scanner has gone beyond what i was hoping for, It's become a must-have in my toolbox, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone after a reliable, full-featured diagnostic solution.

Works well for a shade tree mechanic
I initially purchased to sync new key fobs to my Hyundai, and it worked perfectly for that task. I've since used it to read trouble codes and diagnose a variety of problems on my Hyundai, GMC, and Toyota. It's a good unit with a lot of features for a reasonable price. I'm glad I bought this unit, which was nerve wracking as there were so many options. The wireless feature is really nice also.

The price and the quality
The value for the money is there. The functionality for DIY and new-to-the-industry technician is there. Bidirectional controls and functions tests for most vehicles and test types. Live data recording and playback. Scans codes for most OBD-II vehicles. Stands up with other scan tools of double the cost. Read and understand your tool before using it, there's a lot more power in this tool than just scanning and deleting trouble codes. Hasn't let me down yet after two years of using it.

Useful and easy to operate
This will be very useful for changing the rear brakes on my car, entering service mode to adjust the system since it's electronic. I really like the operating system, and I also like that I can change my language. The manual was very clear for everything.

Really good service, as stated by some other customers I was hesitant in buying incase the product was a fake/bad unit. These are 100% genuine and come with all connectors pre obd2 and obd2. Registered fine in the UK and updates fine. For the price its absolutely brilliant.

Great product for the cost. The only downfall I find is that you have to purchase A complete update subscription yearly that covers all the vehicle brands. It would be A nice option for the company to offer individual car line updates at a cheaper cost. Those are my thoughts from A DIY individual. Also I think that any tool software other than vehicle updates should be either free or cheap.

The Scanner works great! Ironically the day I got it I completed all the needed updates and the following day it got it's first use! I would have gone for a newer model, but for the price difference I can't complain on this purchase at all! Thanks

Fantastic bought for the same price as would have cost for 1 years update with multidi@g who's system I've had for last 11 years, this is far better in many ways. There's no lock out on software when your subscription ends unlike multidi@g
